It's an exeptional place with amazing hosts. The castle/house was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were kind and made you feel at home and welcome. We really felt like family. We loved everything about the place: the hike, the swimming pool, the food and the atmosphere, but most of all the hosts! We will definitely come back as soon as possible. Please pay attention to the road signs made by the hosts. It is very helpful guidance on the way to the location.

We booked the property for a very private birthday celebration, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The pool was spotless and large enough for us to really enjoy ourselves. There were plenty of areas to sit, relax, and eat, and with no neighboring houses nearby, we didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone. The entire place was exceptionally clean. We loved the big speaker for music and the fun party lights we could turn on in the evening. Inside, the villa was spacious, comfortable, and we all slept wonderfully!

Probably the first place where we stayed where the reality exceeds the property photos. This is a gem! Beautiful, tastefully restored little house in a quiet remote village which is really close to Heraklion by car, just in 10 minutes you suddenly find yourself in a different world than the touristy seashore, a piece of traditional, rural Crete. But be aware, you do need a car - which is cheap to rent in Crete anyway. The owners left some tasty local products for us (honey, butter, marmalade, some bakery product, olive oil, even raki!) so we didn't have to care about the first breakfast. There is a place to park just in front of the house which is very convenient. (Don't be shy on the narrow streets that leads there, the car will fit).

Besides the warm hospitality of Stella and the neighbors, who, seeing that we were traveling with a child, did not stop giving us all kinds of attention and care, we loved the rural atmosphere of the town and how impeccabile and well-kept the house was. The washing machine was very useful for us too!
