We had a great stay at the Hotel Port 7. During our visit, the hotel was managed manly by women, who were all absolutely lovely, helpful and competent. We always felt super comfortable!! The breakfast was delicious and the view from the room with afternoon-evening sun very stunning. The location is perfect if you wanna see something from Agios Nikolaos, you can reach all points easly. As well there is a parking spot close by where you can leave a car for further trips. We would definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Port 7 for 100%!!

Great location by the water/port away from the busiest part of the city. The rooms are modern and very nicely furnished, spotless clean. Beds are very comfortable. The nice addition of a jacuzzi made the afternoon very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and extremely service minded. Fantastic breakfast that you can enjoy outside the hotel or at the rooftop area. Parking is easy as you can park for free at the port just 100 meters away. Bonus tip: the equally fantastic restaurant Piato is just 30 meters from the hotel. Book both for an unforgettable combination.

We loved everything!!! Especially the comfortable bed, clean room, the breakfast was amazing!! The view from the room and the pools was stunning!! The team was nice and friendly!! Amazing hotel. Everything about the property was amazing. it was exactly the kind of holiday we needed. we stayed for 10 days and from the moment we arrived until the second we left the staff were unavailable. it’s a small number of staff so during your stay you see the same people regularly they work extremely hard to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. The food and drinks at the hotel were lovely and we used it for breakfast / room service and around the pool but the location of the hotel is also really close to the town. within a 2-5 min walk you are at some great convenience shops with lots of choice, an AMAZING ice cream parlour called solo gelato and then into the port with loads of restaurants and bars. We left yesterday but we will most definitely be back! thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our holiday the best one yet

We had a truly great stay. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served in the room. We stayed in a suite with a spa on the terrace. While it was a lovely room, the terrace was not very private, and although it was advertised with sea view, you only get a small glimpse of the sea – so don’t book it for the view. There was some noise from the kitchen until around 00:30, but it didn’t bother us, and the staff explained that the kitchen will be relocated next summer, which sounds like a good improvement. The pool area had plenty of space. Although the hotel is advertised as adults-only with no access for children at the pool, on some days there were older children present – this did not disturb us, but it’s worth noting. The restaurant serves fantastic food, and the staff were outstanding throughout our stay. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance that are definitely worth a visit. You can walk along the beach and promenade into town in about 20–30 minutes, and we took a taxi back for 9 euros. The beach right by the hotel is also fantastic – it does get busy during the day, but in the mornings we almost had it to ourselves. Overall, a calm, professional, and very enjoyable stay.

    Agios Nikolaos is well worth a visit, this being our second time here after a day trip last year. This year we stopped here for 2 nights at the end of a tour around the island. We could probably have stayed for another night, 2 more at the most. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit, both during the day and night. Shops are great and beaches within 5 min walk or drive.

    Very nice town. Many activities. Nice beaches. Nice people. You can do scuba dive, snorkeling, trip with semisubmarine, trip with both at Spinagola Island, Olive Farm, Traditional Cretan Village Kritza, trip with little train, many atractions around like CretAquarium, Amazonas Park, Beaches, Museum. And many nice restaurants like Karnagio or Plateia.

    Such a scenic beautiful place with so many restaurants and bars offering quality food. At the time of year we visited it wasn’t too busy or noisy but still had a buzz and atmosphere. Lots to do and see and some nice beaches as well as the lake and the port. A good place to sit and people watch from the coffee bars!!

    Cute small town by the coast, when we were there there weren’t a lot of things to do other than explore the surrounding nature of agios nikolaos and we didn’t have a car but in order to properly go around the area outside of town I recommend renting a car!

    We came for 5 nights half board and we enjoyed every moment. Agios Nikolaos is 10 minutes drive and it is a beautiful small city. Also must see is a little village Plaka in front to Spinalunga Island (from the book the Island) is 20 minutes drive. Kritsa is also a nice village 20 minutes away. The dinner was great, with variety of first courses and main courses. We loved it.

    Busy town with plenty going on.

    Busy town with plenty going on. Cruises and a little train doing local tours. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and plenty of authentic Greek food. A few hills but nothing too energetic. I did find that Greece is becoming a lot more expensive than it was some years ago.

    Quiet location. No noisy restaurants nearby, No airplane hum, 200m to the beach, 400m to a large supermarket, full bathroom, no noise from neighboring rooms like in hotels, no mosquitoes, new air conditioner. There is a stadium in front of the windows, but there is no noise from it. Clean room, lots of kitchen utensils, the refrigerator works well.The owner of the house kindly allowed us to stay longer than the allotted time (due to late departure). We thank the owners of the accommodation for the late check-in (01:00).

    Thalassa is a wonderful surprise! We have been coming to Agios Nikolaos for almost 10 years already and stayed in various locations (expensive hotels but also apartments) and I must say this is one of the best. It had 360 views of the sea, it is 5 min away from Amoudi beach and very close to the center of the city. Another aspect, we traveled with my mom who is vision impaired and the apartment is very accessible (easy hallway access, lift).

    Everything about the hotel is exceptional, making it a must-stay if you’re in Agios Nikolaos. The staff is amazing, and the general manager of the restaurant is a truly unique lady who made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are well-suited for couples, especially considering the open bathroom, so if you are travelling with a friend be prepared.
