The hotel was great for our family vacation. There are several pools and a zone only for kids with 5 pools, slides, a bar for drinks, a little playground and a kid's club. Everyday there is a mini disco party for kids. The entire staff was amazing. Room was big and comfortable. The beach is a few hundred meters away. Not a great beach but ok for hanging out. Location - 10 minutes away from faliraki, Anthony Quinn bay, 20 minutes from Lindos. You need a car or a bus or a taxi but the place is quite and calm.

First of all, Mary the lovely person in the reception Welcome you like a family. You get the feeling that they want you to enjoy your stay and will do all that really will happen. Also, the pool and the staff of the bar were friendly and professional. The option to rent motorcycle from the hotel was brilliant decision, we succeeded to see a lot because of that. I definitely will return.

Great location and the staff are absolutely wonderful . The rooms are cleaned daily and it’s close to everything near by . You won’t find a better place to stay for the price . The owners are wonderful people and are more than welcome to accommodate your needs . Definitely recommend 10/10 stay

What I loved about the hotel is that it wasn’t overly large and it’s location was lovely 2 min walk from stunning Afandou beach where the water is spectacular. The hotel location is nice and peaceful and there is a lovely restaurant and bar on premises. 10 min drive to the famous iconic Faliraki strip with lovely shops and bars.

    The beach is ok. It is pretty rocky. Still nice.

    The beach is ok. It is pretty rocky. Still nice. Not much else to do around, so I booked a few tours. The supermarket is a long walk away, especially in the heat, so if you are planning on food shopping and don't drive it's not that easy. If you drive you should be fine. The locarion is better if you rent a car. Not that many places to eat, just a few. There is a small convenience store that sells water and a few basic products. Not really fruits or vegetables etc.

    We were purposefully looking for a quieter destination to take a break from the big city we live in. I liked that even in the town of Afandou, it wasn't too crowded. Excellent bus connections to other cities, e.g. Rhodes, Lindos . .

    The walk to the beach is quite far, so I recommend renting a car right away. There are plenty of restaurants, but not too many shops—still, it was enough. Afandou is a city of mopeds; I’ve never seen so many anywhere else. The center of Rhodes is simply amazing, with countless shops and many restaurants. It felt like life continued throughout the night. The most delicious meat was in the cheapest café.

    Afantou was a good place to explore the east coast from - very accessible to Rhodes Town and Lindos and all places in-between. Everyone was friendly. We ate at tavernas in the square by the school - both excellent. We found the streets of Afantou quite muddly, but soon got used to them - and it added to the charm of the place. You definitely would benefit from having a car so that you can access the various wonderful beaches and explore great places inland. What a wonderful island!

    It was very quiet in the middle of October.

    It was very quiet in the middle of October. It's a local village, so there´s not many tourist services available. Or anything special to see. But it's located very conveniently close to Rhodes town, Faliraki and other attractions. The beach is also pretty good.

    I think, this is the best location, if you are planning to...

    I think, this is the best location, if you are planning to travel on Rhodes island. This beach is not that much developed as other commercial beaches, so you wont find here any hotel, but it still offers sun beds and some restaurants. Beach is long, so you never feel the amount of all tourists around. Afandou village is a little bit far from the beach, so you always need a car to go to the city or to enjoy some services. If the property owner say, the beach is just 800m far, you need to understand, that this is 800 m of straight distance (not by the roads), while walking that distance uphill or downhill in 30+degrees on a sharp sun with all equipment might be tough. There is a small road train connecting village, beach and nearby center of services, but even by a car it takes 15 minutes. I think the best time to visit this place is after middle of June or September, we had daily over 30 degrees. The sand in the beach was too hot and the water temperature was around 24 degrees. If you rent a car, you can reach all famous beaches from this location easily, it just 15 minutes to reach Faliraki and beaches on this side, 25 minutes to Rhodes port and old city and 25 minutes to the beaches on other side like Lindos beach of Pefki beach, both sandy (I recommend to arrive there before 10am, to go down the hill and park in front of the beach, otherwise there is a traffic jam). We had been there with a small kid, so we didn´t tried to go to Lindos Pantheon or southern beaches. If you choose a location for your stay too south (Lindos or Pefkos), or too north (Faliraki), you will be probably lazy to travel to other beaches due to distance.

    Super helpful owner, nice welcome surprise and beautiful apartment, away from the tourist traffic, but only 2 minutes from the main road. The location is absolutely ideal for travelers. 25 minutes to Lindos, 10 to Faliraki, about 35 minutes to the port of Rhodes. The ratio of price and quality of accommodation was absolutely unbeatable! The pool is beautiful, but we didn't have time to use it because we went on a trip every morning and came back after dark. Private parking places exactly under the house.

    Christina is a very kind and friendly person she always asked if we needed something... The apartment was very clean and had all we needed (towels, kitchenware, etc). The position is very handy and very close to the center of town and to the bus stop (you can reach all the beaches of Rhodes by bus). I highly reccomend Cigi apartments!!!!

    The location is perfect, near the sea and a nice beach. The room and hotel area was clean. The food was repetitive only during breakfast, but very tasty and home made, with a wide variety of choices. On the last day of our stay we had a late flight, so we were allowed to stay in the hotel area and enjoy all inclusive food and drinks.

    We have everything we need during our stay. The supermarket is 50 m from the house, also a very pleasant restaurant. Is a very good point to explore the cost, from Lindos to Rhodes city, the best beaches are maximum 10 minutes away.
