Maple Homes is truly a hidden gem. When I first arrived on the road leading to the property, I doubted what the property would look like and was worried that I may be disappointed. This is due to the surroundings and road leading up to the property. However, the moment I stepped inside the room, I was surprised. The room was comfortable, stylish and the hospitality was great. The rooms were spacious and very clean. While I stayed, I could tell that staff had cleaned the room every day while I was out site seeing during the day. Beyond the beautiful accommodation, what really made my stay unforgettable was the great customer service from staff. Frank and Michael went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to offer assistance or local recommendations. Thanks to their support, my stay was seamless from check-in to check-out. I recommend Maple Homes for anyone looking for a good quality stay in Accra and somewhere that is affordable and not too far from tourists attractions. Thank you again to Frank and Michael for making my experience outstanding, you both truly embody the spirit of excellent hospitality.

In my years of travel ,I’d say this is the hotel that gets it for me . The bed and sheets felt heavenly , the food is insanely good . The staff very courteous and disciplined. The scent of the hotel, the ambience , the toiletries , the design , aesthetics , the location was very central to all major sites and sounds of Accra . Honestly I’d recommend and I will definitely stay again and again .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the #1 Oxford Street Accra Hotel & Suites during my trip to Accra, and I must say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that was second to none. The hotel itself is stunning, with a sleek and modern design that perfectly blends with the traditional Ghanaian architecture. The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and well-appointed, with every possible amenity one could need during their stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of the highest quality. One of the standout features of this hotel was the incredible food. The on-site restaurant served up some of the best meals I've ever had, with a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes and dietary requirements. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a vast array of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes on offer. The hotel's location is also a major plus, situated in the heart of Accra's bustling Oxford Street. There were plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance, and the hotel's shuttle service made it easy to explore further afield. But what really made my stay at the #1 Oxford Street Accra Hotel & Suites unforgettable was the staff. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs. Overall, I would highly recommend the #1 Oxford Street Accra Hotel & Suites to anyone visiting Accra. It truly exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to return on my next trip to Ghana.

The breakfast was plentifull and delicious. I could choose. The room wasn´t big, but it met all my expectations: kitchen, fridge, big safe... The room was not run down as often in big and expensive hotels, but it made a fresh impression. The friendly managers were always immediatily available. A supermarket is some 100 meters from the house which was always guarded.

    Great place of peacefulness, wonderful people but needs a lot of work on roads outside of the central city areas. Public transportation buses need complete overhaul with cleaner and newer vehicles. Most of all issues with lights and water outage issues need to be resolved fully along side the bad roads.

    Accra is organised, beautiful,safe.It it relatively more developed than other countries in West Africa. Ghana also has a better educational system. The standard of living in Ghana is higher. Ghana has 24 hours electricity. I visited Safari Valley, a luxury eco Safari resort,with recreational activities such as horse riding,archery,nature walks,bike riding, watching exotic birds and animals. I also visited a waterfall close to Safari Valley.

    Accra is a city with all the tools and resources to be a great destination in West Africa; however, it is far from that. The touristy sites, such as the castle and forts (UNESCO World Heritage Site), were abandoned and neglected. The infrastructure was also far from ideal, with many of the main roads unpaved and people asking for money to pass. I had a very uncomfortable encounter with two locals that wanted to charge me to walk along the beach, even though it was clearly a public space. The matter was resolved when two other locals explained to them that my friends and I had been walking along Labadi Beach for some time. This scares away tourists. Throughout my time there, the meals felt expensive. I was paying for very regular meals for USD$20-30. For a country that is so rich in gold, coffee, and cocoa, I was expecting more. Clearly, the revenue from these resources is not being invested correctly.

    my partner had to work but i was so well looked after by robert and all there nothing to much trouble it weas like i had a new family so quiet and relaxing. i am disabled and going blind. but my partner knew i would be well looked after. the best place we have stayed at this was my fourth visit to accra wish i had found this place before. the rest of my stays were a nightmare. i would return again and again. in fact i would leave the uk and stay full time that is how happy i was thank you robert and all from the bottom of my heart susan

    The silicon square was a perfect place for me.

    The silicon square was a perfect place for me. Location is super excellent and the staff was really good and had a an awesome time staying there. Facilities in the apartment were all neatly kept. Airport shuttle was right on time. I really enjoyed my stay.

    We loved Accra for being authentic in everything we saw and experienced. We plan to return in the future. We also spent some time using thte acilities at the Labdi Beach resort. The Spa staff and treatments was spot on at a reasonable cost - appointment only serve..

    The atmosphere; calm & fresh - the manager had local paintings put on the walls of the staircase one day while we were there; a nice touch. The room was very Zen & the en-suite bathroom large. The roof top is a great idea and although we didn't eat there, there was pizza on offer in the evening. Seems like a good place to spend the evening as being opposite the sea, there's a constant breeze; no need for air con! The staff - very welcoming; typical in Ghana :-) & we were well looked after. We would definitely return.
