Maka was extremely helpful from the beginning our booking and gave us alot of help and information on getting to her home! She is extremely kind and made us feel so welcome- we were greeted with fresh homemade khachapuri and coffees and we chatted like we were old friends. Her house is very beautiful, clean and cosy. We had some of the best nights sleep on our trip! We had a delicious breakfast, with produce straight from the garden and the best compote ever.. Makas garden is full of fruits and vegetables, which she will happily show you! She treat us to cake and coffee and tea in the morning and evenings, and looked after us like family. There is also a very cute dog called Dobby. The best place to stay in Tianeti- we have met new friends we will miss. Thankyou so much to Maka and her family for the wonderful hospitality! You will not find a better place to stay in Tianeti. Come here to see the real Georgia!

We stayed here for 3 nights very comfortably, with beautiful views and adequate facilities. There is a restaurant/cafe just next door, and a shop within a few minutes walk. I would recommend it to anybody staying in Ananuri.

Loved everything! The guest house itself, the delicious authentic local food, the gorgeous view of the mountains and the river Ilto below! You can't find a better place; it's convenient and close to Akhmeta. And, of course, Iza and her staff were friendly and hospitable! And sitting in the evening by the fireplace and drinking cold Kakhetian wine from clay bowls while having a snack churchkhela is priceless!

Everything! The house is beautiful, both big and cosy at the same time. My husband and I stopped in Ananuri for one night but wish we were staying longer! Communication was great, the instructions on how to get there were clear. Parking is outside the gate. On entering the house you can’t help but say Wow! The two bathrooms are big and have nice tiles. There is one on each floor. There are also two double bedrooms upstairs. Both of those have bedside lamps (a rarity in Georgia, we have found!), sockets, and balconies. The bed we slept in was very comfy and had soft clean and snuggly bedding. There is also an internal balcony and seating area. Downstairs is a single bedroom, a kitchenette/ dining area (fully stocked) with a washing machine and a dishwasher. The main living area has a magnificent fireplace, sofa and chairs, and a swing seat. Outside is a whole room with seating, table, and the big fridge is out here. The view from the upper floors takes in the hills and the river. The garden goes down almost to the river if you venture down the steps. There is a Spar nearby too for supplies. All in all it is the best place we have ever stayed in, over many years of holidaying in various countries doing road trips. I’d like to live here!! If we return to Georgia we will absolutely stay here again. The value for money is exceptional.
