Kobuleti is a nice small town on the Black Sea beach.
Kobuleti is a nice small town on the Black Sea beach. We stayed in a hotel with breakfast and ate dinner in small cafes which are plentiful, with good local food and quite reasonable prices. We moved around on foot and in a rented car. The beach is fine, safe and not overcrowded even at the peak of the swimming season. Great place for easy access to the sea shore itself. Not crowded as in Batumi. Not really any architecture/city places to look at except the city queue. But it is easy to take a taxi and reach PetrA fortress in one direction (20 minutes) and Botanical garden with flamingos, parrots, huge trees from all over the world in the other direction (25 minutes). It is affordable bearing in mind you are eating in a hotel. They gave us early check-in which was great. The safe was not working and they fixed it as soon as we asked them.
