It was awesome! We stopped here for one night during our hike and we loved everything. Our host was great, she is a great cook and we looooved the food! It was quite cold and we were provided with extra blankets and tea. We would come back for sure! Beautiful location, just stunning.

We are a family with teenage boys and had an absolutely great time in Dartlo. The location was the clear highlight of our Georgia trip and the family, owning the place and the staff was absolutely wonderful! The trip started with the great adventure of riding up the Abano Pass with their Land Cruiser taxi. Reaching the guesthouse, a gorgeous family and team welcomed us and regaled us with delicious mountain cuisine and home-brewed beer and vine. It is a wonderful place for hiking and chilling. We enjoyed every minute!

The view over the river is amazing - but the food server every morning and evening was a journey to explore. The host was always there to help with a big smile. We learned how to play domino - Georgia style and enjoyed the company of the family of the host.

The host was very welcoming and cooked us an exceptional meal with a fantastic veal in spicy sauce and an extensive breakfast with pancakes and various Georgian dishes; very clean and well kept rooms. We had a beautifl view of the setting sun and abandoned Girevi stone towers.

Our stay at Shios Stonehouse was amazing. The view from the big balcony and our doubleroom was even more stunning than on the pictures. Our room was cozy and clean. Very clean and modern building. With very good food and a beautiful view overlooking the Omalo valley. This was a great place to start before a long hike and great value for money. I also got excellent help from the host in exchanging some dollars for Georgian lari.
