We were made to feel welcome right from the off. Our room was beautiful, the whole building has a fantastic character with nooks and crannies and interesting decor - you can feel the love that has been ploughed into the place. The breakfast was impeccable, choice of cereals, pastries etc and a spot on full English.

We stayed for one night on Saturday 9th November. We were made very welcome by the lovely lady at reception. She gave us some great ideas for where to eat in Spalding. Our room was spotless, bedsheets were clean, towels were lovely and soft and the heating was on. Room was toasty warm. We had no downsides or complaints except the breakfast. The fried egg was not runny, it was as if it had been sitting on a hotplate for a good while. Other than that it was delicious xx Thank you. We will be returning xx

    My affection for the Fens goes back to childhood as my grandparents lived there near Whaplode and we spent all our summers there. If you want a completely chilled break at a slower pace of life then this is definitely the place to go.
