Home to home setting with much more comfortable bed! 😉 We loved the breakfast! Bit of an everything.. The location is perfect, the beach is just down the road, one of the evening just popped down to watch the sunset. The host Jen and Simon were fantastic! Very friendly. The place is clean, the bathroom was huge with fantastic decoration. When I booked The Clubhouse for some reason I thought there were a double and 2 single beds in the suit, but when we got there there was 2 double beds.. We are a family of 4, and our 2 kids got used to sleep in separate beds.. When I asked for an extra matress my hosts were amazing and they gave us an extra matress for no extra charge!! That way all nights were great. 2 of my children have been asking me when are we going to return… I am sure we will.

The hotel has so much old world charm & character about it. The staff were so friendly & helpful. The beds were comfortable.The restaurant food was delicious & so was breakfast. Just a short walk to the beach.

We arrived well after mid-night and the wonderful lady who worked there, stayed up for us, arranged some wine for us, took our orders for breakfast and then walked us up to the room. All with great warmth and friendliness, as if it was completely normal to have guests arrive so late at a small town hotel. We had arrived slightly embarrassed, but felt genuinely welcome. Thanks again for that.

Central location: excellent for beaches and shops. Dinner menu excellent; recommend the venison or the duck. Breakfast very good: waited on at table with a great choice of food; such a nice change to buffet style breakfasts. Again food excellent. Lively bar with plenty of music. Our room had a lovely sea view and was quite a distance from the bar beyond a heavy fire door; so no disturbance with loud music. Hot water piping hot for showers. Plenty of tea/coffee provided in room.

Exceptionally well curated space that elevates your mood as soon as you step through the front door. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom filed with light and the bathtub wonderfully large, the common areas were beautiful and the food delicious. Staff were very friendly and did their best to help at all times. This was my second stay as I enjoyed the first so much I could not wait to come back.

Picturesque environment, oldschool feeling, close to the sea and to Inverness. Breakfast is all right ( but we got better home made cook in a 3* Inn). You can see 3 scottish highlander cows for free. Beds are comfy. Do stay in the castle, the feeling is a lot better then stay in the courtyard ( wich is basicly a converted stable next to the hotel)

Very, very nice hotel staff from receptionist to the waiters in the breakfast room. Very clean and comfortable room. We have not tried the spa this time, but we will for sure when we return.
