St Austell town centre is dated and needs some TLC , but...
St Austell town centre is dated and needs some TLC , but around the ring round is everything you need to make your stay great. Big Asda, lots of resteraunts, and the usual chains. There is some amazing beaches, countryside, walks in and around St Austell. And , it's a brilliant base for all things Cornwall, very well connected. Carlyon and Petewan beaches are fantastic. St Austell is a run down and neglected town hard to navigate...
St Austell is a run down and neglected town hard to navigate and not much to see. Charlestown is a delightful harbor with a good choice of restaurants and bars a bit of a shame that the harbor is being worked on but it has to be done. My friends and I only came to St Austell for the Eden...
My friends and I only came to St Austell for the Eden Sessions which is held at the Eden Project where top artists play live each year this year we saw Biffy clyro and the venue is an amazing backdrop with the biomes lite up at night the one place any music fan should visit . We wanted to visit the Eden project.
We wanted to visit the Eden project. This was the main reason for our visit. However there is a lot to do in this area especially when the weather is good. We visited Looe area. But on our first morning there was no Greek Yoghurt. The menu states that you are welcome to ask for variants from the standard breakfast menu. My friend asked if the hotel could get Greek Yoghurt in. They did the next morning and she was able to enjoy what she really likes for the rest of her stay! Excellent service and true to their word! Wi-fi worked well for me and I needed to work while there so that was very important. Nice location with 15 min walk into harbour where you could find a few nice restaurants to eat in. Would recommend The Longstore for dinner, The Cellar for drinks and The Boathouse for a nice lunch in the garden. Good size Tesco and Lidl 3 mins drive and Aldi and Asda close by too.
