We have stayed here many times over the years when visiting our daughter, the bar is how a proper English pub should be. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the accommodation is comfortable

Loved the history of the place and the way they have blended old with the new. Food was very good and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend over the normal Holiday Inn/Premier Inn type hotel.

Dinner amazing, I order the fish and chip thinking it would be nice and simple but it was extravaganza!!!!! I was offered a mini tasting box which was amazing, even the twist on homemade breads and butter was delicious
