Foods & services offered by Lairds house are fantastic! We are lucky to have a perfect Sunday Roast. It was one of the best Sunday Roast we have ever had. The full English breakfast with coffee and orange juice made us start a lovely day. The staff are helpful with lovely smiles and gives good hospitality.

I cannot recommend The Portland enough. The staff were very friendly & quick to meet anything asked of them. The room was stunning & facilities were so good. The food was delicious with a menu that would suit a varied guest list. It is a very short distance to shops, restaurants & cafes. Really enjoyed the beer garden & playing darts in a relaxed atmosphere. It was great value for money. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Ashington.

Great cottage. Well positioned - a couple of minutes walk into town and close to the train station. Spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds. Everything you need and the showers are excellent. Would stay again.

Such a beautiful property, on beautiful land. Easy to get too, ( we are very familiar with the area as my mum was born there ) however even if you are unfamiliar, easy directions and easy to locate.

Lovely shepherds hut, really well equipped and maintained and is in a nice quiet location a few minutes walk from the river. Its a shepherd hut so is obviously small, but has been well designed so it fits in everything you need
