I chose Hotel Football for my stay because I wanted to watch a Manchester United game the next day without worrying about transportation. The hotel exceeded all my expectations! The distance from the hotel to my seat in the stadium was less than a 5-minute walk, making the whole experience incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The room was exceptionally warm, despite Manchester’s cold weather, and it was spotless and well-organized. On top of that, I was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the stadium right from my bed. It felt like a childhood dream come true. Waking up and seeing Old Trafford was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to combine their stay with a Manchester United match. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Brilliant stay. So much better than a hotel, you get the extra space for (in many cases) a lower price than a hotel bedroom. Cleanliness was 10/10. The flats themselves were very cosy and well appointed.

I was in Manchester on business but would definitely spend time there for pleasure. Relatively small city with lots to do in the city centre. Be careful though, like all cities it has it's undesirables. Good choice of food (Rudy's is great for pizza) and some nice hotels. Manchester is easy to get round by bus or tram and we'll connected by train. The city has a good vibe so enjoy.

    Manchester is an interesting city.

Manchester is an interesting city. It has a contemporary vibe and appears to be growing rapidly. It felt a little like Frankfurt (DE) with its juxtaposition of old-world charm and 21st Century architecture. The only thing it lacks is public green space - although the canal network could provide this with development investment. Contrasting this cityscape is nearby Peak District National Park, offering wonderfully lush English countryside and quintessential Derbyshire villages and towns, right on the door step.

We stayed in Manchester to see a concert at the Opera house, so stayed a couple of nights to explore the area and do some shopping. Manchester just seems to have random stuff everywhere, without and sense to the layout. The shops were standard high street shops and were expensive The bars and restaurants were also very expensive and there were far too many, until we wanted a late beer and couldn't get one after midnight We made use of Weatherspoods a couple of times for food, as they were affordable There were homeless people on every block, far too many people in the centre and a lot of the area smelled of drugs

Manchester is okay but trying to find some nightlife without paying through the roof to end the door was a bit ridiculous. The one place out at was O'Malley's pub. The food was great. The nightlife is great and set up very happy with the service and enjoyed myself.

Lovely place, easy to get around with the trams and how cheap they are for a group at weekends. We ate at the alchemist lovely food and drink, we came for a festival and was so easy to get to also. Would be good for shopping if you go for that. There was a massive retail park from hotel (the niu loom)we stayed at.

Fabulous surprise to find such a comprehensive array of things to help make a stay comfortable in the room. The design and styling were also first rate and for the first time in a UK City centre hotel managed to get a goo night's sleep with the very comfortable bed and pillows and air condition that worked quietly. Just goes to prove that a UK offer can be just as good as the best on the continent. Location of course being so central perfect. Well done, we will be back!

My 4th stay, great location and facilities. room is very clean. great value for money. I have stayed at diff budget hotels in Manchester City and found this is the best, given the price range and the distance so close to city centre. Staff were very helpful especially the new receptionist from Hong Kong (forgot to ask her name but she was at night shift on 11-12th) , she is so nice and attentive.
