The hotel location is very good. The rooms were very nice and big. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was very good - we had a hearty full breakfast with bacons, sausages, eggs. The eggs benedict was very tasty as well. We didnt have dinner at the hotel.

An Unforgettable Experience at Kyle of Lochalsh – Thanks to Chef Ravinder Singh & Manager Prabha Reddy Our recent stay at Kyle of Lochalsh turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives, thanks entirely to the extraordinary service and heartfelt care shown by Chef Ravinder Singh and Manager Prabha Reddy. We were traveling with our elderly parents, aged 70 and 75, and were understandably concerned about how they would manage in such a remote, secluded part of the world. But what unfolded was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, Ravinder and Prabha made us feel cared for and at peace. They didn’t treat us like guests — they treated us like family. They personally ensured that our senior parents were looked after with patience, dignity, and exceptional attention to detail. Chef Ravinder cooked warm, homely Indian meals with love and consideration for their health and preferences — something we never expected to find in such a distant corner of the UK. Manager Prabha Reddy coordinated everything with such quiet efficiency and warmth — from check-in to little comforts that made all the difference. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. Their teamwork, hospitality, and sheer human kindness were beyond professional — they were deeply personal. In a place so far away, where we least expected it, we found heart, soul, and unforgettable service. If anyone deserves a generous raise and incentive, it’s Chef Ravinder Singh and Manager Prabha Reddy. We strongly recommend they be recognized and rewarded for setting the gold standard in hospitality. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. You’ve given us memories to last a lifetime. — Sunaina & Nishay (Travelers from India)

It was my best stay in Scotland, and they were mostly 4-star hotels in the list. Staff was very well coming, nicest check in I’ve had in Scotland. The pods are equipped with everything you may need including just stunning view on the isle of Skye. There is a very nice cafe with Scottish cuisine and Highlander cows farm nearby - both are brilliant compliment to the stay

We did a glass bottom tour of the area which traversed around the Loch which was a great experience..we used the hotel in this area to access Isle of Skye as the accommodation in and around was either not available for mutli night stays or well over priced for the facilities. The bridge and the Loch was a great experience on our journey around Scotland

Good location to base yourself for visiting Skye, Plockton, Sandaig, Applecross etc. A variety of places to eat to suit all budgets including a decent sized Co-op. Good roads with plenty of signed passing paces on the single track lanes. The 2 hour boat trip with Seaprobe Atlantis was a fun experience and having easy access to all other areas - Skye, Kylerhea ferry, Sandaig, Plockton - made it perfect for me.

It was a pilgrimage for me,my dad was posted there during the Second World War on MineLaying duties I wasn’t disappointed as the community have made sure they are all remembered, with a couple of memorials. It is a beautiful part of the country, with stunning scenery abound, walking ,touring, boat trips, coffee haunts..history..or just watching boats ply the water. A train trip would be an absolute highlight on the Kyle line, your nose would be pressed against the window the whole way. If you like driving or motorcycles…..your in for a treat…..

We stayed one night in Kyle of Lochalsh, really just so we could get a quick look at the Isle of Skye before continuing on our travels. Lovely place to stay. We did have a quick drive into Skye, which maybe wasn't really worth it. We have enjoyed our driving around mainland Scotland more...

This hotel has the most spectacular views of any hotel I've seen. Even in Scotland, (which everyone knows is the most beautiful small country in the world), a view across to Skye is unsurpassed. The photo was taken out of our bedroom window. The rooms and communal areas are clean, comfortable and warm. The staff are very efficient and friendly. A casual remark on my part when booking resulted in a very kind and thoughtful gesture - thank you so much.

Please note that the kitchen does not have a stove for cooking but is equipped with toaster, microwaves, air fryer, slow cooker. Plenty of space for free parking also.
