The place had a cozy, stylish, and modern vibe—something between a hotel and an apartment, with a unique two-floor room layout that made it feel extra special. The location was excellent, within walking distance to shops, sightseeing spots, and everything you’d want to explore. The staff were incredibly kind and responsive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. There were lots of fun and thoughtful extras, like an acoustic guitar, a vinyl player with a Bluetooth speaker, and even a “shower beer” compartment (for an extra charge). We also really enjoyed the beer keg in the room—£40 well spent! The breakfast was rich and delicious, and overall the stay felt like great value for money. Little touches made it even more memorable, like playing rock-paper-scissors with the bartender to win a dessert, and getting a beer token for reusing towels to help save the environment. Loved it!

The location was great, walkable to the Old City centre, the university, parks, etc. It had parking available behind the pub, so nice for moving luggage around. The upkeep was top notch, the room acoutrements were very nice, it was well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Canny Man pub had exceptional food and the decor was eclectic and highly imaginative.

The hotel is unbelievably lovely with very authentic touch goes above and beyond. and yet the rooms are equipped with super modern furniture, bathroom and interior. Very clean, located in a park and still close to downtown. The breakfast was fantastic, the location is great you feel like in a fairy tale. The staff is very helpful and responsive.
