The host was incredibly kind and helpful — recommended many great restaurants and pubs, even offered us rides to and from the train station. The house was cozy, with a very comfortable bed. We both loved the little garden. The location was also convenient, just a short walk to the bus stop and Tesco. Highly recommend！

The apartment has everything you need, super comfortable beds and spotless when we arrived. The location is perfect, right next to the main road with good transport access into main town (St Ives) right outside the gate. Walking distance (warning - very steep) to beautiful beach below. Would recommend this!

    Lovely setting - it really is a private beach there, and the restaurants (part of the Hotel) are great .. if a little pricey! We hired paddleboards £14 for an hour which was great, and if you get there when the tide is out you can walk all around the bay.

    Nothing to dislike about our stay from start to finish Doug was the perfect host and nothing was to much trouble for him . The place is a credit to him and the attention to detail is excellent. Thanks again Doug Mick & Lindsey oh and Lottie of course .

    Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives.

    Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives. Plenty of restaurants with different choice of food. Tried several and found them great. La casita Spanish tapas -lovely. Gannet Inn the staff so friendly and Sunday lunch very nice. Firehouse St Ives, lovely staff and great food. The beach area in Carbis bay is really beautiful with choice of food available, a really nice bar with stunning views and a coffee shop. It’s very easy to get around if you have a car and there is parking available in several different locations around carbis bay. The local supermarket is very convenient on the main road. Already looking forward to a return visit!

    Carbis Bay has a lovely sandy beach.

    Carbis Bay has a lovely sandy beach. Easy walk to StIves or to Porthkidney beach. Train station is very useful to travel without having to drive. Beach cafe serves delicious food. Lovely vibe at Carbis Bay .

    Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this '...

    Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this 'part of the World is 'Parking' ( Which can be a real nuisance in Winter ) and total 'hell' in summer...But The Badger Hotel is just a few minutes from the station ( with frequent trains to the centre of St Ives )...But as 'pointed out' by the Hotel, the bus stop is just 'over the road', so we went directly into the centre, in a 'matter of minutes'...( And believe me, it doesn't get better, than that...

    It was the perfect location to visit St.Ives and other areas...

    It was the perfect location to visit St.Ives and other areas in Cornwall. Carbis bay is stunning, but with an easy £1 train journey into St Ives.. Please note that if walking to the beach it may be difficult for people with limited mobility, due to the steep gradient.

    Location, has a Tesco less than 1 minute walk, lovely walk down to carbis bay, 20 min walk to St Ives. Bus stop right outside property. We walked to St Ives and then caught the bus Back, so easy. Spacious bedrooms, very modern and well decorated. Beautiful house. Loved the electric blinds. Lovely high ceilings and clutter free.
