The entire experience was exceptionally remarkable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with utmost importance and attention. The tea in the drawing room, the tour, and the room being prepared for sleep without our knowledge were all thoughtful gestures that added to our positive experience. We will certainly return in the near future.

the location is very near to shopping streets or supermarket, quite convenient. The staff in the reception were quite efficient and friendly, especially when I checked in at first day,I found my room was not quite clean, they immediately asked the lady who cleaned the room and apologized for this. I think there's no perfect hotel, but in my mind, the Z hotel is perfect as the reception staff soveld problems quickly . By the way,it's quite cozy and comfortable staying in this hotel.I would definitely visit here again .

FAQs about hotels in Bath

Roman Remains and Georgian Grandeur

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.

Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.

Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.

North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.

Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

We travelled to Bath to walk from BATH Spa to Bathampton along the canal footpath. There were numerous coffee shops to choose from and the walk uncovered some historic views and historic notices. The views were great across Bath and along the canal. Well worth a trip. Services rail and bus were prompt and plenty to choose from.

We have visited Bath several times and can highly recommend it as a place to see in England if you don’t mind the crowds! The buildings are mostly built in beautiful cream coloured Bath stone and stunning. The city has all the shops you would need and there are plenty of options for eating (most pubs do a great Sunday lunch!) We are restricted to school holidays but if you can visit out of season I am sure it would be less crowded.

Too many wonderful places to see… wow , this city is full of amazing places. As much as possible try and stay close to the City Centre and use the apps such as the self guided tour app, but make sure your phone is fully charged because you will be using both the app for a talk on the iconic spot as well as your maos ( Google etc ) for navigation. Make sure you spend time at the Roman Baths and for fans of Jane Austen, the centre. Look out for the Crescent, spotted it and a couple of other spots in one of the episodes of Pie in the Sky .

The hop on hop off bus trips were excellent value for money.

The hop on hop off bus trips were excellent value for money. The queues for the Roman baths were long and the cost of entry was, to us, excessive. Plenty of places to eat and drink, with good variety. The cathedral was a haven of peace and quiet and well worth visiting.
