Very comfortable room and spacious. Great size bathroom. Travelling alone I felt very safe in the accommodation. I also ate in the pub restaurant below. Excellent menu choice and fabulous variety of burgers. There was music playing but the volume was at a low level and did not disturb me. It also turns off by 11pm. Good tea and coffee corner with breakfast continental style provided in the bedroom. Good wifi connection. Excellent visit. Highly recommend. Friendly staff and in a fabulous village location.

Nicely located in a small village, good food and friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Evening menu helped greatly as we had been travelling all day and reasonably priced with good value for money.

Lovely room with own entrance. Clean and cosy. Our room was adapted for disabled people, so our sink was low in our bathroom. But it’s great that they have adapted the entrance and bathroom to be wheelchair friendly. The menu for dining was not large, but the food is great! We stayed two nights and both nights we dined at the hotel. Various types of proper English breakfast were offered. Would have been nice to have a “buffet table” for cereals and yogurt though

    Great hosts, always available if we needed help with anything. But frankly, we didn’t want for anything. This place is amazing! They even assisted when my partner had a blow out on his way to work! A really generous hamper was left on arrival which included home made chutney, alongside milk, tea and coffee. There was even a goody bag for the dog, with treats, a towel and a very thoughtful tag with the address on to attach to their collar. We had two more guests one of the nights and the host was kind enough to bring us scones, jam and cream for breakfast - this was really welcome after our guests had a very tough week. Lovely setting at an equestrian centre - nice being able to watch them have a ride around the arena. We were travelling for work, so only managed to visit the local town of Clare - which was lovely! The place was spotless! Certainly the cleanest place I’ve stayed so far. I assumed there might be something that wasn’t available in the shack, but they literally thought of EVERYTHING! Already booked to stay another couple of weeks!
