everything the room was large, the bed was comfortable and warm. The hotel is a relaxing & comfortable atmosphere the staff were fantastic. I had a wonderful relaxing stay and can’t wait to go back . the food was excellent & nothing was to much trouble for the staff very accommodating

Nice, big, airy rooms, in a perfect location. Everyone was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Also a great place to have a drink - friendly local atmosphere and a well looked after cellar.

    Beautiful village with two pubs and a well equipped shop.

    Beautiful village with two pubs and a well equipped shop. We had a drink and dinner at the White Swan and it is a beauitful pub with a lovely area to sit out the back and the food was amazing. I used the general store which seemed to have basic needs and more. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and its worth to visit the Ampleforth Abbey.
