Throughout the hotel and restaurant the decor and fittings are new, tasteful and of a high standard. Our bedrooms overlooked the river, with a great view of the mountains and the pretty town. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were not disappointed.

Bucolic location, views, warm decor, attention to details, and bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast too. Aside from the property the hostess was kind and despite my limited French we had an interesting conversation about her farm and her work.

The cabin is actually much bigger in real life than on the photos, it's more like a proper house. There's everything inside, even a washing machine on the side of the house. The location is absolutely stunning, despite its proximity to a motorway, this chalet offers amazing views of the mountains and a feel of nice quiet countryside. The owners are incredibly welcoming, warm and helpful. We weren't sure what to expect of this place when we booked it but it absolutely exceed our expectations.

    Saurat is an ideal location if you enjoy hill/mountain...

    Saurat is an ideal location if you enjoy hill/mountain walking, cycling, visiting village markets of all types, hearing birdsong. All on the doorstep. Winter access to cross country and down hill sking near by, snow shoeing from the house. Clear blue skies and sunshine 😊 There is a shop in the village which more than covers your daily needs.

    Beauiful house, well furnished with everything needed,...

    Beauiful house, well furnished with everything needed, plenty of pots, pan and utensils. Plenty of parking space. Location fabulous, opened onto a terrace facing the mountains. The village has a shop open most mornings for bread and has a good selection of cheese, cold meats and drinks. You can survive without leaving the village. There is a small restaurant on the main road approx 5 minutes walk from the house. Calames also has a small restaurant on the main road. Other than that Tarascon and Foix has a selection of restaurants.
