cosy , welcoming . the house is carefully decorated and taken care of. the shared living room is a gathering place, with a large table and a fireplace and a working piano. breakfast turns into a pleasant conversation. the view from the upper room (and the house in general) is wonderful. the owners and their family are lovely, easygoing, no-stress people who gave us great tips for hiking, sightseeing and dining. finally, we would dare say that our dog loved it too.

An amazing apartment with everything you could want. Incredible views from the rooftop terrace and a light an airy space inside. We were bike touring and only had the one night, but the owners let us use their garage space for the bikes as its an upper level apartment. Would highly recommend it. I wish we had had longer to stay in the area.

The friendliness, helpfulness and willingness of all staff and especially Andre the owner to meet our additional requests e.g. carrying our luggage up 250 yards from the station. Restaurant wide range of dishes at good value and the best waiting team I've ever seen in action.. I think the hotel is worth 3 Stars.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment is in an ancient building in the middle of the village, which is itself extraordinary, and has been sensitively restored instead of being over-modernised. It was actually huge, with three rooms plus a bathroom. Despite initial impressions it was actually very comfortable and really has everything you could possibly need. You could certainly stay here for several days or a week or two if you like the area (and what is there not to like about it?)

We loved absolutely everything. I can't find words to describe how perfect our stay was. The apartment is beautiful and in a stunning location. It offered us everyrhing we could have ever dreamed for and even more. The hosts are among the sweetest, kindest and most helpful people we have ever met. Just perfect.

    We came to ride the steam train on the Train des Pignes.

    We came to ride the steam train on the Train des Pignes. It’s an enjoyable experience but the stop at Annot is a bit long considering it’s such a small town. Would recommend options for just going one way especially if travelling with children.

    This hotel was a surprise. It looks a little plain from the road but it is a charming and comfortable place to stay. The staff are extremely welcoming and speak sufficient English for good communication. The room was clean and comfortable with a modernized bathroom.

    This hotel is a great place to stay and perfect location. Staff are always friendly and have stayed here many times (2 times this year alone). Motorbike parking out the front and easy to get to rooms with luggage.
