Paris was lovely, and there were a lot of tourists. This meant it was busy around the Eiffel Tower etc, but the metro was pretty empty compared to London. We went to Montmartre and it was packed with people, but we found a lovely local bar and sat with some food and a pastis. Heaven. There is so much to do, I would recommend picking your favorites and then defining the area to explore. It takes time to get around, lines are long, prebook as much as possible! Great city, fabulous buildings and sights. We took a boat trip on the Seine (hop on-off Batobus) which was a good way to see the Eiffel Tower and to get to other attractions. Public transport is good with the Navigo fare system (use the card, not your phone - the app can be unreliable). The Les Puces flea market at Clignancourt is a must, hundreds of small antique stalls , as well as the usual knock-off tat. We have been to Paris often, this trip was a one night stop over on our way up from the south of France and back to London. We stopped to visit Notre Dame now open again. In 24 hours we had time to visit two of our favourite restaurants - one near the Canal St Martin for dinner and the other for lunch in St Germain. Every time we come to Paris we stay in a different arrondisement so get a chance to sample different areas.Guest review byAnonymous

It comes with the minibar including snacks and coffee machine loaded everyday. Room was clean and spacious. Rates were comparatively cheaper than all the other places around the area.
