Perfect location to commence our walk in the Vanoise national park after arriving by train. Our hosts kindly held our luggage until our return, placed it in our apartment and allowed us to check in early.

Had a lovely stay at Les Hauts du Pâquier, located in Modane where there's plenty of places to see and eat. Stayed here en route from the Col du Galibier, cycling on to Bellecombe and Mont Cenis. Lovely place and the hosts were very friendly and helpful with information about the local area, Val Cenis and even offered to make a lunch for me. The breakfast is all "du territoire", so you can appreciate homemade jams, compote, croissant. Bedroom very cosy and Alpine! Really would love to come and stay again in the future, given how rich the area is in activities!

    My daughter and I stayed at STUDIO 21 M2 TOUT EQUIPE at the start and end of a five day hiking trip in the Vanoise. The studio was immaculately clean with two very comfortable beds, wardrobe, small desk and a fully equiped kitchen as well a washing machine. The hosts are absolutely charming and helpful. We give STUDIO 21 M2 TOUTE EQUIPE our highest recommendation and we will definitely stay here again the next time that we’re in Modane.

    Easy to find, warm welcome, good parking, comfortable room. Also, unlike another hotel I stayed in in Modane, this one had its sign lit up, so much easier to spot for the solo driver after dark. The manager is Italian, so the coffee's good. (It's also a bar.) Very good value. The photo I've attached is of the station across the street, demonstrating its location, as well as its convenience for those arriving by train.

    Breakfast was basic but adequate. The rooms on the back have a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The rooms are basic but are ideal for a stopover on the way to a ski resort. Would definitely use this hotel again.
