This is a bed and breakfast and it's terrific. The host Guy and I corresponded before I arrived and he offered to pick us up at the Marcigny bus stop, which he did. It was fun doing "franglish" to communicate. Breakfast was fruit and eggs and meat and cheese and croissants - just what we asked for. The lack of A/C was no problem even in 95 degrees heat. Fast wifi. Good restaurants near by. Such a wonderful booking.

This is an outstanding property with all the bells and whistles. The owners are as friendly and helpful as can be, the rooms are fabulous and the property has a pool and outstanding views of the wonderful Burgundian countryside. Whilst other facilities can provide similar de-luxe facilities, this property also provides absolutely fabulous meals at their 'table d'hote' for both breakfast and dinner at a great price. All guests (10 and more) meet at the large table on the terrace - if the weather permits - and try to converse as well as they can in a multitude of languages. It's great fun, and the generous provision of wines helps getting things going splendidly. The rural property is peaceful and quiet and has plenty of parking spaces.

Idyllic rural setting. Wonderful personalized touches in the rooms. Fresh breads and homemade preserves served al fresco on nice days. Base for donkey treks. Kind and helpful hosts who go above and beyond. Highly recommend.
