An amazing, spotlessly clean property. The spa bath in the bedroom was very unusual but absolutely fantastic. We had been walking for 10 days and being able to soak and listen to music on the brilliant sound system was awesome. Everything in the place was designed to make the stay perfect.

Lovely welcome, beautiful big residence and the bedroom was very big with lots of charm, the bathroom very modern with a wonderful shower. Right on the canal, and we could ride their bikes down to the restaurant 1 km away, riding along the canal. The breakfast was wonderful. Yes, we would definitely return

The property is a beautiful 11th century Abbey in the middle of the countryside. Quiet, tranquil, full of history. Our hosts were wonderful and so welcoming. My sister and I spent a night there and we sat in the lounge for a couple of hours sipping wine we had brought (and shared with our host) whilst playing Scrabble by the fireplace. It was clean, bedroom was warm, good shower pressure (important!) and we had coffee available outside our room and a simple but lovely breakfast. Parking was available on the property. The golden retriever loves cuddles and is very friendly. Our host also showed us part of the Abbey in the evening (though it was raining)

This place is very special, situated in the lovely elevated village of Fanjeaux, it is a superbly designed suite of rooms with a stunning view for miles across the countryside as far as the Black Mountains. With its own private entrance, the first room in the suite is a spacious conservatory with cosy seats, beautiful plants, decor with books and even painting and sketching materials thoughtfully provided for guests. From here a door leads into very attractive mini-kitchen/dining room that looks out across the stunning view, with coffee-machine, fridge, microwave and little butler sink complete with a dresser filled with beautiful pottery and glassware. The next room with the same breathtaking view is the super comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The hosts have put so much care into making people welcome here and are very kind and responsive while giving guests perfect privacy in a peaceful space.

    Looks interesting on the map. One expects a quaint medieval 'ring' town. Actually it is deader than Bucharest on a Monday night! If it were not for the Chinese guy in the Thai take-away we would have starved on the night we spent in Bram.

    I was passing through Bram and my stay at Villa Cattus made the soujourn most enjoyable. I saw very little of the town itself, but its market on Sunday morning seemed to be a bustling hive of activity.
