The host was extremely helpful and thoughtful, the room was lovely and the hotel grounds and views are exceptional. This is a really picturesque village with everything you would need, and the hotel is situated by a beautiful bit of the river. The garden and pool are are beautiful, the room had everything you would need. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back! The room had been kept cool with closed shutters and the windows open but as the weather was exceptionally hot, the electric fan provided was much appreciated. The hotel was very dog friendly too. Our room was comfortable and pleasant in a very traditional style. We did not take advantage of any available facilities, and did not take breakfast there, so cannot moment on those aspects.
