A True Gem in the Heart of Aix – A Home Away From Home We made a last-minute reservation at La Maison d’Aix, arriving late at night, and were welcomed with warmth, care, and a delightful bottle of sparkling wine with delicious treats. From the very first moment, it felt like coming home. We stayed in the Master Suite, and words can hardly do it justice. Overlooking both the charming backyard and the quiet front street, the room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. The house, with just four rooms, exudes intimacy and charm—every space tells a story, elegantly decorated with impeccable taste. Breakfast was an experience in itself—prepared with love by Emma and her team. Fresh, crusty bread, creamy butter, local jam, perfectly cooked eggs... Simple, yet elevated to something truly memorable. It was honestly one of the best breakfasts we had during our two weeks in the South of France. The amenities were equally outstanding—the serene living room, the relaxing heated pool, and the hamman created a true haven. The care and passion Emma and her husband put into this place is felt in every corner. Their local recommendations made all the difference in our experience in Aix—genuine, thoughtful, and perfectly curated. We are incredibly grateful. La Maison d’Aix became the highlight of our entire trip. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience, and one we’ll return to again and again. Indulge yourself at 1785. You’ll never forget it.

Great, great place, it was clean, awesome interior, super comfy bed, had a small but very well equipped kitchen area, great TV, it was a bit tight for 3 people but we didn't have any issues at all, also the location is quite nice, not exactly in the most central area but very close by.

Great room for one night. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and it was easy to check in and out. They have also a restaurant which provides simple food for a good price. Free parking (you definitely need a car to have access to this hotel).

    A large historic city centre with hundreds of small individual shops and restaurants. The squares are a wonderful place to eat at night and you should not miss the food markets on a Saturday. Very helpful and pleasant staff in the shops and restaurants and a very beautiful city. Access is easy by train from Marsallie or other towns in the south France; you don't need a car. Best to eat away from the main street as it's netter value and the food in thr local bakeries is amazing. I'd especially recommend Boulangerie Hats Aix Espiariat for breakfast and lunch

    I went there specifically for the opera festival held every July. That's of a very high standard. The Theatre is modern and ugly. The city centre is absolutely hopeless for the car, narrow streets and no parking available at most times. There's a very nice part round the cathedral and Hotel de Ville. The famous Cours Mirabeau didn't do much for me. I took a chance on the weather in order to go to the festival but found the vicious heat difficult. Going there in the spring or late autumn would probably be much better for someone used to British weather.

    I came for the art and wasn't disappointed. Cezanne's studio was charming. We couldn't get online to book tickets for the big gallery exhibition, but we wandered up the street and discovered a fabulous manor house gallery with a beautiful courtyard restaurant. Great vintage shops, markets every day, friendly and buzzing. Perfect for exploring on foot with loads of interesting streets and shops in all directions. Sextus Thermae spa was a godsend on the hot days and a brilliant way to spend the day - it had a snow room! We booked again for our last day between checking out and flight time and they looked after our luggage, so absolutely brilliant. What a great city.

    Aix en Provence is a charming area.

    Aix en Provence is a charming area. The surrounding villages and towns are worth visiting also however I would recommend going in the shoulder season as it was very hot whilst I was there and very few places have air conditioning

    From the moment we arrived to the morning we left everyone one was so genuinely friendly and helpful They even opened the hair salon after I mentioned to the pool staff I was going to ge my wife to cut my hair that day we was so surprised when he said use he spa salon .we did expect that. We have a hybrid car they charged th battery the night we arrived for our next trip. We did no expect that.

    Clean, comfortable and well-equiped appartment a short walk from the centre of Aix that was perfect for our family of 5. Very comfortable beds and lovely quiet location. Great communication from Virginie and easy self check out, allowing us to leave really early for our flight from Marseille. We only wished we could have stayed longer, and we would love to return in future. The pastries from Maison Weibel in town were the best we ate on our 19 day tour of France. Must try the millfeuille.

    Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and although not massive, perfectly fit for purpose. Beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was just right, area was lovely. If you are looking for a relaxed, fuss free Hotel with free parking and excellent access to the beautiful city of Aix, then I highly recommend the Mozart. We had a wonderful stay. Thankyou to all of the staff.

    Unexpected stopover as our flight from from Marseilles was cancelled. Hotel was very well positioned within easy walking distance from the train station, bus to the airport as well as the centre of Aix. A room upgrade on arrival was a very welcome surprise, thanks for that.

    A very nice hotel with nice pool and restaurant. A nice walk into Aix or very easy to catch the number 8 bus at Corsay stop approx 50m from hotel. The info centre in town excellent and have bus maps/timetables too. Nice menu. Vasarely museum an easy walk from hotel too.
