The apartment was super cozy and had everything necessary. Super clean linen and towels. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped. The host had really nice details like a nice bottle of red wine on the table for us.

This hotel was a fantastic suprise. We didn't expect much, just a regular mid range accommodation but the was way above average experience. Super comfy beds and fantastic sound proofing made us sleep as family of 4 with a baby to 10.30! That never ever happened. It's super clean and people who work there are very professional. Big thanks to pay from reception who helped us solve some minor hiccups! View from hotel is gorgeous. Fresh air and calmed off the mountain were prefect. Dinner buffet was more then excellent with really fair price. Pool and jacuzzi were open to be used, there is billiard, flippers, table football. There is playground that ur kids enjoyed a lot and mini farm. If I could give resting higher then 10, I absolutely would! We would come back so gladly.

Simple, clean lodgings in a beautiful location. Our room had doors that opened up to a view over the town and the mountains. It was the perfect place to be based to hike in the nearby national park. The restaurant was also tasty and affordable. We liked it so much we added an additional night stay.

    There are a lot of great walks, however it is a very sleepy village, and we struggled to find a restaurant that was open, even on a Friday night! However the Payoyo factory is there, and the villagers are very friendly

    It's a nice village surrounded by the mountains of the "...

    It's a nice village surrounded by the mountains of the "Sierra". But unfortunately there are no restaurants there and not much to do besides relaxing on your stay. Even the cheese museum which is the only tourist attraction from the city, was closed. Maybe it's a good place to stay while exploring the hiking trails nearby. I'd have stayed 1 day instead of 2, and go explore other areas and activities. You also definitely need a car to explore the region. Most nearby city with more to do, and the only we could find restaurants to eat, is Ubrique, 20 min away by car.

    People were very welcoming, the room was clean and the food was good. Breakfast was rudimentary and fine. I booked during the power shutdown across the country which created some confusion but it all ended-up well. This is a small family-operated hotel ran with nice locals coming in and out, in an amazing environment! I’ll definitely return again.
