It's tempting to say there are too many peregrines in Santiago and there are. But Santiago wouldn't be the same without them we visit Santiago every year as a chilling out restful end to our summer vacation in Vigo. We walked the Camino for the 2nd time so Santiago will always hold a special place with us. There is nothing like finally arriving after hundreds of miles and finally walking into the square~ Was able to go to Mass and witness the Botafumeiro and did the tour of the roof. The church was huge and beautiful. I felt great to be in Santiago de Campostela after the Camino Walk. There was a restaurant that served all you can eat and they had good BBQ beef & pork. Santiago is a must-see, so no blablabla needed here. Just one observation: although there are lots of covered parkings in the downtown, most of them are very low, ranging 1.80 - 2.00 m.
