I liked so much this hotel, good reception staff, they also speak English, nice, comfortable, clean, large room with balcony, comfortable beds, bathroom in the room is also large and clean, very good meals with enough variated food from my point of view; ocean view from the balcony was also nice; even though there are no sand beaches in the surrounding of the hotel, it's nice to see volcanic stone chunks on the shore and blue water; I also appreciate the correctness of staff because I arrived in the evening at the hotel, therefore, I missed the lunch on the arrival day, but the staff told me no problem, you can take the lunch on the check out day instead. I felt very well during my accommodation time unlike in the past when I was accommodated to other locations, so, doubtlessly, I will come back :)

We were absolutely delighted, good Wi-Fi in the rooms, comfortable beds, snow-white clean towels, pleasant staff, it is very convenient that there is a kettle in the room, also the hotel has an incredible view of the ocean, there is where to walk on the hotel grounds and a good pool, and most importantly it is close to the airport and there is a bus stop right at the hotel, I definitely recommend visiting, we were delighted!!!

I can’t rate under 10/10… it was perfect for start my solo trip in Tenerife! Mari Ann is a sunshine person and her place too! Very warm, cosy and benevolent. Location is convenient between beach and volcano. Also, the view from San Miguel (and the terrace) is amazing. Sure to come back one day if I can! 🌞

    Love this resort, we stay at the Santa Barbara resort which...

    Love this resort, we stay at the Santa Barbara resort which is a fantastic resort and the rooms are very modern, the pool area is lovely with different levels for sunbathing if you don’t want to be by the pool and you can book your beds a day in advance, so no getting up at the crack of dawn to put your towel on a sunbed. They have a lovely terrance bar with evening entertainment, kids games room and a gift shop & supermarket on site. The bus stop is a short walk away with easy access to the airport or Los Cristiano's. The resort is right on the seafront with a great coastal path that you can walk down to San Blas or even Los Abrigos. Great place for a getaway and the weather is always good.

    We have stayed in the area many times.

    We have stayed in the area many times. Its ideal for those who want a quiet restful holiday without the noise of night life. The restaurants in San blas offer good food at a good price. The area has lots of pleasant walks along the coastline . Plenty of parking nearby. We hired a car and went to nearby beaches at la Tajita and El Medano. Buses are frequent and trtavel to other local beaches and Los Christianos should you want a day of noise and activity. Would recommend for those who want to escape the busyness of typical spanish resorts. Its not for the young seeking nightlife and activity.

    I have been going to Golf del Sur area for many years.

    I have been going to Golf del Sur area for many years. The golf courses are good, hence the reason I stay in this area. The downside is that there are really no sandy beaches nearby. However there are good ones a short bus journey away. Had a fantastic meal at the Mirador restaurant in Los Abrigos. Nice small town only a short walk away with a lot of nice restaurants and cafes.

    The town is not for pedestrian walks in the streets. There are only few streets between big gated developments or hotels. It is designed to spent a night in town and then plan day activities outside the town.

    Golf del Sur was perfect for a group of ‘girls’ ( age 57 to 65). It felt safe at all times. The resort is clean with lots of nice walks, great restaurants and bars. We loved El Nautico for lunch and drinks and the food in Alecrim was amazing.

    We stayed in these apartments for a whole week and had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed — it was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The view from the terrace was absolutely beautiful. There’s even a grill area available, which is a great bonus! The hosts are very kind and welcoming people. We are especially grateful to them for accommodating our larger group when our plans changed. It’s not our first time in Tenerife, but we can definitely recommend this place and will gladly come back again!

    Best location in the area and may be Tenerife. Quite and beautiful street close to the coast (via a gorgeous golf course) and small pebble or rocky beaches. The villa itself is overall lovely, spacious and comfortable. It provides a view of the ocean and has an “inner garden” with mini golf.

    Amarilla Golf is in a part of Tenerife away from the usual tourist part but this property was in a stunning location to explore ! It has a fabulous view from its covered terrace but also great to grab a few sun rays with that coffee or cheeky beer!
