Delightful hotel with top service. The room was comfortable and the dinner was much better that expected for the price. We used the free pool and parking and also visited the surrounding villages that were recommend by the nice lady at the check-in counter. Would come back for sure.

A lovely [and very quiet] place, in the heart of a historical village. Owners were always very thoughtful and concerned about my wellbeing and always available to share information on local touristic features, places to eat and local touristic features. Because I was there in a work assignment, I couldn't enjoy all the touristic attractions and learn about local cuisine - one more reason to return one day, with family, and check all these wonderful locations. Nevertheless, a big thanks to the owners for their concern with my stay! Hope I can come back some day and catch up with all the local attractions I may have missed this time. Cheers! P

The location is amazing, Extremadura is an undiscovered jewel! Such a beautiful sky at night, full of stars and completely surrounded by nature. You wake up with birds chirping and the calming sound of the river, such an incredible experience overall. Already looking forward to go again. The hotel is fairly new, it opened last august. The staff is incredible as well as the food. We where very lucky that the pool was open

The food was excellent, breakfast and the dinner, with exceptional service from Raul. The location is rural and quiet. Good to relax before Madrid, and in the summer, high up from the hot plains of Extramadura. Close to Portugal and only 3 hours to Madrid.

    Hotel is beautiful and a lovely location. Room was very basic, no phone to ring reception, no glasses for the number of people in the room, no teas or coffee offering in the room. The spa facilities are poor, the only good thing was the jacuzzi. Steam room was cold, tile were freezing so you could not seat there. Ice fountain did not have the usual ice, so they just put ice cube manually there per session. Overall I found this hotel expensive for what they offer

    The breakfast was very good with many choices and the scrambled eggs were superb. I had dinner in the restaurant on one evening and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The whole hotel was warm and welcoming which was very important as the weather was horrendous with torrential rains and fierce winds. The view from my room of low clouds over the mountains was actually really nice because I was snug and warm.

    The location was fabulous for stunning walking routes from the door. The wild flowers at this time of year are amazing. The hotel staff were wonderful, especially the reception team, who were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The food was fabulous, as was the restaurant service. Half Board was excellent value for money.

    We have been 2 or 3 times before and we are never disappointed. The staff are always exceptionally helpful. The dinner and breakfast were superb. It is a very peaceful place and especially so on this visit as we had the hotel all to ourselves.
