The Moragona is a little off the beaten track and definitely is Rural. A wonderful experience as we were the only guests that night. We reassured the manager that there was no need to open the restaurant for just us and that we were happy to eat in the bar area. The evening meal was home cooked and excellent and breakfast was very good.

Built in the 18th century, Hotel Bodega La Venta maintains many of its charming and original features. Set within gardens, it offers an outdoor pool surrounded by a sun terrace.

Host was very pleasant and accommodating and arranged food and drinks in the lounge as the bar was just closing. Arranged for our bike to be parked in the courtyard for safety. Would definitely stay there again if travelling through Spain again.

The room was lovely and warm on a cold night. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean. They allowed the dog free of charge.

The hotel had a very friendly and vibrant atmosphere. The free parking was fantastic. The evening meal was excellent value for money. Overall, we would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it.

We were delighted with everything about this hotel. So convenient off the slip road, the cleanliness of the room, the breakfast served in the dining area, the friendliness of the staff and finally the price. As an example, after a long journey from Santander upon arrival we needed a glass of wine. Duly ordered and presented with a bottle, two glasses. Cost 3 euros. When was the last time a Brit paid that in a hotel?
