The garden is simply beautiful, with a nice view of the mountains. The pictures of the rooms don't do them justice. They are much nicer in reality. There is a lot of choice at breakfast. The rooms are rather spacious and clean. The people who operate the hotel are not your typical hotel staff, and with that I mean they are not the fake friendly type, but if you make an effort to speak a little spanish (a few words are enough really), you'll find them very helpful, generous and friendly. The location is close to the highway, but we didn't hear it from our rooms because it's a lot lower on the hill. You're very centrally located to all the Asturian beach towns and even the Picos de Europa are only a short drive away.

    We received an exceptionally warm welcome from our host, who provided all manner of useful information. The apartment was welcoming, spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The terrace was particularly pleasant for eating or relaxing outdoors. Porrua is a charming village, with excellent access to Llanes and the coast. A lovely walk, the Ruta Mananga can be done directly from the village. Shop for essentials in the village and a bar. Parking no problem.

    Hotel Rural Porrua is a beautiful house situated in a beautiful village surrounded by wonderful countryside. The hotel and gardens are spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is a perfect location for excursions to the numerous towns/villages on the coast, and the Picos de Europa mountain range. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was our second visit to the hotel and we intend to return next year. Thoroughly recommended!

    We like the village where the hotel was situated - the closeness of mountains, ocean, and very nice beaches (2km from the village). The hotel owners are very amiable, and they care for us very well. They gave us helpful advice about the possibilities for trips. The breakfast was delicious, too. If we spend our following holidays in Asturia, this hotel will surely be our first choice. Thank you for all:-)
