We stopped here as a convenient place to stay as we travelled west to east through the Pyrenees. El Pont de Suert is a bit of a “one horse town” and everything was closed on Wednesday and not much open on a Thursday either. It is not an attractive town. It is convenient to visit the Val de Boi, which is stunning but we should have travelled on to Vielha to stay, as it was only 20km further on. The owner was very helpful and opened the garage for Moto parking. Drop your luggage at reception as the garage is two floors below the entrance. Restaurant opened at 21:00 when I stayed and served really good regional food. Menu changed daily on a chalk board. Decent continental breakfast and late check out.
