If you find yourself in the Salamanca or Zamora areas, you should stay here. It is like an oasis. Good location-small town. Definitely rural. The owner/manager was very gracious. The food is excellent-restuarant attached. The rooms are very adequate. The setting is the strongest asset. Be sure to catch the sunset from a nearby "pico" Easy walk from the hotel. Very impressive what the owner has done. There is no place like this for miles around.

Wonderful! We only stayed the one night but this place is exemptional - we enjoyed the whole experience - Los Jerónimos has a lovely atmosphere - from the pretty terrace and gardens to the rustic décor inside. The room was very comfortable and clean. The evening meal - which is a set menu - was the best of our holiday and we also enjoyed the breakfast with the homemade bread. We would not hesitate to return.

The peace and quiet, the history of how Antonio gave the building some TLC, and the ground itself that the building is on. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and the friendly Magpie who came and sat on my shoulder and shared a biscuit with me. We loved the owls flying over at night, such a pleasure to watch while sitting under a tree. We also liked Antonio who seems to get a bad rap, he was friendly, informative and although he sold us the most expensive items on his menu, along with the most expensive wine we enjoyed it all (and to be fair, you can always say no and choose something cheaper if you wish, but we asked for recommendations and he gave them) along with the story that went with it, we liked the map of the area and the details he explained to us. The food was delightful and we really loved the steak and the ragu - thanks Antonio, we will return on our next trip to the North!

the place is in middle of a small quiz town with a lot of charm. the hotel itself feels very new we like the air flow in our room (rooms don't have ac but actually you don't need it because of the stones covering the room and the building) the room is very very clean and the owner is responsive

This Hotel has to be 10 star absolutely ..I am a *genius* member of booking .com ..come on guys give this hotel a genius level .10 star all ,the way! From our arrival to our departure three days later.. nothing was left unattended. We ate inhouse the whole time ..the food, service, customer service, attention to detail was amazing. Let alone the location location location. Our suite looked straight out at rhe castle.. bells tolling and we walked to everything including thr supermarket . The hosts were simply amazing.
