A bit far away from everything but exactly what we needed. Peaceful countryside farm, horses and very nice and helpful staff. They also helped us to plan our day trips to Galicia area. Breakfast was simple, Spanish breakfast with tomato bread and sweet cake. Dinner was also available upon order and the staff was very flexible with us 😅The room exceeded our expectations, super nicely decorated, clean and modern with lovely view to the green garden. Fun experience to try riding with friendly and kind horses ♥️

This beautiful, friendly small Hotel, formerly a schoolhouse has been lovingly restored and fitted out as a small Hotel by the wonderful Alex. The area is of special beauty and has a feeling of safety and security rarely found these days. The breakfast was perfect, It was a continental style using local fresh ingredients. If Alex was not there Raul was there also to make sure all was perfect. We also got great advice in respect of the best locations to photograph in this stunningly beautiful area. very Spanish here, lovely walks, not many shops but good bakery and supermarket. Restaurants nearby but this is a quiet place with lovely views and lots of character. Love it here.

What a nice location in a quaint village not far from Viveiro. An old stone building surrounded by a pretty garden with olove, lemon and orange trees - and vineyards. Nearby there are more stone houses as well as an old church and a dreamy cemetery, Very quiet and peaceful overall - something to relax in these turbulent times. Rooms and beds comfy, good shower pressure. I was welcomed by a very friendly senora and she seemed relieved that I was speaking Spanish as she doesn't speak anything else. She served me an excellent breakfast, all homemade (cake, different kinds of jam, apple jelly with the cheese etc) and local ingredients. Perfect spot and much nicer than nearby Viveiro town. Only suitable if you have your own vehicle.

Loved this place. I was there in winter but blessed with beautiful sunny days for hiking on trails with few people. Espasante itself is a beautiful town with a port on one side and lovely beaches on the other. The hotel has been a family run business for generations and it shows in the care they take. The mum is also a keen walker and gave me advice on how to make the most of the great hiking in the area from O Baqueiro back to Espasante and then from Carino to Cape Ortegal and San Andreas de Texeira. Highly recommend both hikes. My hosts gave me directions to take for buses and arranged for Feliciano (local taxi driver) to pick me up at the trail end. Feliciano I can also recommend. Really nice and insisted on a side trip on the way back to see the view from Mirador de Miranda. Magnificent 360 views. The son and daughter run the business during the day and both are really nice, fluent english speakers (which helped a lot given my limited Spanish). I understand they are very busy during the summer but my winter visit was fabulous. The room was simple but clean and warm. No complaints.

Beautiful, very comfortable and very well decorated. We love it. The only thing missing for me was a shelf in the shower and a full body mirror. My husband really missed his morning double expresso. But those are just details to make it even better as the place is AMAZING and we really enjoyed and recommend it!
