This is the most exceptional little hotel. It has recently been lovingly and lavishly restored and has only been open a month. The owners are charming and quite clearly in love with Villa del Marqués and it’s history… and for good reason. Breakfast was superb.

This hotel is nothing short of a hidden treasure, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all. The hotel itself is a marvel of design, exuding beauty and comfort in equal measure. However, the true highlight of our stay was the owner, Rogelio. Our flight to Asturias arrived late, causing us to return to the airport to collect our rental car the next day. Rogelio graciously offered to drive us to the airport as he also had something to do in the town. But the journey didn’t end there. He took us on an impromptu tour of the town, sharing fascinating insights about local architecture and the rich history of Asturias. This personal touch added a layer of depth to our understanding of the area, enhancing our overall experience. Rogelio’s dedication to ensuring we had the best possible experience in Asturias was truly remarkable. His passion for his hometown was infectious and added a unique dimension to our trip. The culinary offerings at the hotel deserve a special mention. The food was nothing short of spectacular, with the breakfast standing out as a particular highlight. The quality and taste surpassed all the cafes we had visited before. In conclusion, this hotel offers not just a place to stay, but a complete cultural immersion, thanks to the efforts of Rogelio. It’s a place where comfort, history, and gastronomy blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what Asturias has to offer.

The atmosphere was electric and full of amazing vibes from the moment we arrived. Huge thanks to the incredible chef Jairo and the whole team beyond gorgeous inside and out! Chef is insanely talented, kind, generous and full of joy. You can truly taste the heart and love in every dish and dance 🥰 So inspiring ! It was hands down one of the best dinners and evenings we've ever had. The place is a slice of paradise surrounded by dreamy savage beaches that feel straight out of a postcard. Asturians… so warm, welcoming and full of charm 🤍 We're so sad to leave but we’ll absolutely be back. Can’t wait for another yoga session on the stunning Terrace bEAch!     Faedo itself is a tiny hamlet with almost nothing there.

    Faedo itself is a tiny hamlet with almost nothing there. However, we stayed at a bed and breakfast called La Casona de Faedo Pension, which is also has a bar and restaurant, and this place is simply stunning. There is a waterfall nearby called the Cascada de Gorgollón, which is about a one and a quarter hour round walk from La Casona and is well signposted - be sure to visit as it is very much worth it.
