Really friendly staff, beautiful old house in a lovely part of Basque country that is not yet swamped by tourists, authentically and lovingly decorated, excellent home-made dinners and superb value for money. Best place we've stayed at in a long time!

We loved every aspect of our stay here. Everything was super clean and seemed to operate as a well-oiled machine, but it retained every aspect of sleepy basque town that one wants when visiting Mundaka. Shout out to Nory, as she took care of our check-in when we arrived and served us breakfast the following morning. She had the gift of knowing when to take a moment to chat with us and when to work to make sure everyone else was taken care of. This gave a human element to the entire experience, and we felt at home. Good job, Nory!

    Very quiet place to stay.

    Very quiet place to stay. Nothing open in the village for food or drink. As long as you don't mind a twisty road down to the main road to Gernika. It was a good road not too narrow. It was not a problem for us.
