The appartment has a great location in the first row at the coastline, with superb view to the west (for enjoying the sunsets). It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a public pool around the corner. The appartment has a terrace where you can have your breakfast or dinner while enjoying the view. Appartment itself is spatious, with a big living room and fully equiped kitchen (including an oven, a microwave and a washing machine if you plan to stay longer). In the vicinity (15 min walk) is a supermarket and a small buisness centre with several good restaurans or bars. If you have a rental car there is street parking available in front of the building, and all the popular beaches are some 15 minutes drive away. Marianne, the owner is very helpful, she explained us everything. As we arrived in the middle of the night she was waiting for us, although normally the check in is until 20.00 hours.

    This is a quiet area, which was nice for a family visit. If you want more bars and nightlife this is not the area for you. Some small restaurants and cafes with a good range of menus. Supermarket and bus stops also in the area. Good bus service for exploring other areas and attractions.

    Lovely area, great array of restaurants - The El Delphin and the Little German were recommended. Enjoyed eating there. Not busy like the Las Americas resort that is quite near (we went in early April). The people who lived there were friendly.

    Quiet location, good swimming beach although quite a lot of rocks along with the black sand so swimming shoes advisable. Waves can get quite big. Lifeguard on duty. Plenty of restaurants close by along with supermarket, so easy for self catering.

    Calleo Salvaje is ok if you like to stay in just one place, all the time. There are enough restaurants for a week, or so, but beyond that it's a limited option. Mainly occupied by timeshare properties. Poor bus service, only takes you in one direction. Car hire essential if you want more than just a beach and expensive prices. 2 good supermarkets, if you're self-catering. Hilly, if you lack mobility. Quiet, if you like nightlife.

    A small town, with a few shops and pubs - an ideal base for exploring the island. The town is also suitable for people who value peace and quiet, because there were definitely fewer people there than in other towns on the island.

    This is the second time we have stayed at the apartment and...

    This is the second time we have stayed at the apartment and still loved it. It has all the necessary ingredients for a great time , a balcony a pool and a view of the sea. We have just looked to book for 2025 for the same 10 days and have found the company have DOUBLED the price - that's outrageous. So we won't be going back - shame.

    We had a very nice stay over here with our family with 3 children. The village is not too busy end of October, which we liked. More relaxed than Las Americas of course. But still enough restaurants. If you don’t want to use public transport or taxi you need a rental car, which we had. The pool was nice, kitchen nice, quiet at night, 3 bedrooms and a very comfortable couch and a big TV for some streaming. And all clean. All good.

    This is a lovely quiet hotel in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful seaview from our balcony. It was so relaxing to sit looking at the sea and hearing the sound of the waves below. The pool was very nice and very clean. There were plenty of sunbeds available. We did not eat in the hotel but there were a number of very nice restaurants across the road from the hotel. Finally the staff were all very nice and helpful.

    The hotel was great. Friendly staff spacious rooms . lovely pool areas good value pool bar. all in all a great stay. The hotel is in easy walking distance of lots of good restaurants and there are walks from the hotel which we enjoyed. First time to callao salvaje. I was a bit worried it might be too quiet. I loved it peaceful but lots of hotels and restaurants. Better than I thought it would be.

    The villa we.were given was very conveniently located. Very close to the pool and bar/restaurant, seaview and about 10minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms were spacious and in the kitchen we had all we needed (kettle, iron, toaster etc) nice to have also a little.garden with sunbeds and a small bbq. Restaurant staff was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend it

    The locality was good, hotel was average. Breakfast was alright. We appreciated the activities like pool, minigolf or tennis as well as free parking in front of the hotel. Small but nice beach nearby, also very nice coastal walk from there. Nice terrace in every room.
