We walked to Albergue Piedad as "pilgrims" to Santiago de Compostela. It's location is near the train station, which you need to take to get across the river. Albergue Piedad is welcoming, offers wonderful food, and is a great place o regenerate if you are walking the Camino.

Gustavo and his wife and daughter showed themselves to be warm and compassionate hosts on a very rainy night when my wife and i arrived cold and soaked to the skin after two hours walking in miserable rain. Even though the restaurant was closed, they opened up the kitchen specially and cooked us a delicious hot meal. We will be forever grateful for their kindness. We recommend Finca Alcamino for anyone wanting warmth and comfort on their pilgrimmage!

    Fantastic!

    Fantastic! The location, the hotel, the welcome, we liked everything. Boo is a small village in the country. Fresh mountain air & pretty views of lush pastures. Our hosts were super helpful, they speak excellent English & gave us good advice about where to eat in the evening. There are rooms available on the ground floor for anyone with mobility issues & you can easily drive to the local restaurant, approx a kilometer away.

    Hotel was nicely presented, modern, light and airy. Reception staff were very helpful and personable. The room we eventually ended up in was in the main hotel and was very nice. It was a corner room, fairly spacious, clean and adequately equipped. It had a great outlook over the village. Nice the indoor pool was open til midnight. Outdoor pool looked lovely. Breakfast room looks over the hotel terrace and into the valley which was really nice. Breakfast was fine - bread loaves were nice.

    I was doing Camino and my idea was going over the bridge with "renfe" and continue walking from there - so location of hotel was perfect - it was sort of middle of nowhrere but still had close by some places to eat and shop for buying whatever you needed for next day walking.

    Very clean with comfortable beds Great little family hotel with good sized bedroom apartments. Nice area near to a beautiful cove. We stayed for one night only for its proximity to Santander before catching the ferry. Nice little find. Staff were helpful and friendly.
