Charming rural hotel, feeling like at home. The hosts are absolutely lovely and provided us lot of good advice to visit surroundings. Room top clean, simple and comfortable. Exceptional breakfast with very good local food and home-made yummy cakes. We also had dinner which was excellent. Bar based on trust: note what you take and pay it next morning, loved it. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and local spirit in a simple authentic manner.

We stayed here in April with friends while walking the Camino del Norte. The rooms are new (or newly refinished), clean, and nicely furnished. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We ate a simple, tasty dinner and good breakfast as well at Rincon de Yaxu. Highly recommend!

The garden is simply beautiful, with a nice view of the mountains. The pictures of the rooms don't do them justice. They are much nicer in reality. There is a lot of choice at breakfast. The rooms are rather spacious and clean. The people who operate the hotel are not your typical hotel staff, and with that I mean they are not the fake friendly type, but if you make an effort to speak a little spanish (a few words are enough really), you'll find them very helpful, generous and friendly. The location is close to the highway, but we didn't hear it from our rooms because it's a lot lower on the hill. You're very centrally located to all the Asturian beach towns and even the Picos de Europa are only a short drive away.

Came here with low expectations as we were travelling on a tight budget, but it quickly became my favourite hotel ever. The owner is incredibly friendly, the rooms are decorated quirky and personally, and not to mention the view!!!! Every morning we sat at the foot of the mountains as the owner cooked us HUGE and absolutely delicious breakfasts tailored to our preferences and needs (including vegetarian meals which is quite difficult in Spain!). The meals were big enough to fill us up for the whole day and included a small buffet including coffee, muffins, yogurts etc. The whole thing only cost €10. Unfortunately my partner was ill with sunstroke for the last couple of days of our holiday but the owner was so helpful in providing us rehydration drinks and medicine to help with the sickness, even when I messaged him late at night. I will definitely be coming back and I cannot wait until my next visit.

I was looking for somewhere quiet to stay and La Casona was peaceful and restful. The house is charming and Amelia went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I wanted. The breakfast was superb with a variety of delicious foods. The house and my bedroom/bathroom were spotlessly clean every day. I had a delightful stay and I thoroughly recommend La Casona deTresgrandas.

    It is a private apartment hotel, perfectly located in a quiet place with a mountain view and close to a beautiful beach. The apartment is absolutely clean, looks new, very spacious and well equiped. The double bed mattress is perfectly comfortable. The hostess was extremely nice, likeable, responsive and helpful.

    The hotel is situated in a quiet area where it's easy to park your car. We had a small, clean studio with a lovely decoration and all the necessary amenities. Sol, the host, is a wonderful person who was very friendly and gave us lots of tips.
