This was place was absolutely fantastic! The location is stunning, directly on the Nile river inside the Nubian village. The rooms have been recently renovated. The staff was super kind, welcoming and helpful. Last but not least, the food was excellent (probably the best and most authentic we had our whole trip!). We loved our stay and hope to be back in the future.

The place is in a remote location in the calm waters, facing the Philae Temple. Room feels like a highly comfortable house in a dream village. Spa facilities are amazing, I would highly recommend the Egyptian hot stamp massage of Mrs. Zainab. The staff is super kind, joyous and peaceful, Mr. Shoum from the restaurant, making my check-out breakfast box with a fresh mango juice ready in a blink of an eye, Mrs. Merna and Mr. Joseph in the front desk being very helpful, upgrading my room to a jakuzi room, solving all my requests in minutes and, Mr. Besim delivering me my necklaces (that I realized that I forgot in my bathrobe’s pocket in the airport) in a speedy way right to the airport, all unforgettable… With the elegantly natural interior and exterior design in breeze of basil Ben Ben by Dhara is an oasis for Egyptian tourism. Because the place takes place in the lower dam you need to reach there by taxi and take the hotel’s boat waiting in the dock, but it’s worth the distance. I’d highly recommend, do not hesitate.

We recently stayed at OnatyKa and it was an absolute delight! The vibes at this place are so amazing, creating an atmosphere that truly feels like a slice of paradise. The staff is not only incredibly kind but goes above and beyond to assist with anything you might need. The handmade local food provided an authentic culinary experience, making each meal a perfect journey for the taste buds. The proximity to a few stunning beaches added an extra layer of enjoyment, allowing for a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. About the rooms with Nile views, they are nothing short of a dream. Waking up to such a wonderful scene is a memory that will linger for a lifetime. Without a doubt, OnatyKa has left an indelible mark, and we can confidently say that we will be returning whenever the chance arises. An unforgettable experience all around!

Huge surprise! An amazing place, full of beautiful furniture and history. You can feel the spirit of travelers everywhere. You can travel back in time in a very elegant style. This is a great start to get into the explorer's spirit before embarking on a criuse tour of the Nile. Amazing swimming pool, wonderful view of the river and a very good breakfast in the beautiful interior of the restaurant. One of the few hotels in the world to which I will gladly return.

The property could not have had a more beautiful view, the whole place was exceptionally clean, the rooms extremely comfortable and the food delicious. The photos really do not do the place justice - located on the peaceful Sahel island and overlooking the nature reserve, there is no place I would rather stay in Aswan! On top of that, Omar went above and beyond to look after us during our stay which was very much appreciated! Including an amazing boat tour around Aswan and a packed up breakfast for our super early morning transfer - couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you!!

The breathtaking location is marred by an excellent treatment by Tamar and his colleagues, who are like a family and would make you feel part of it during your stay. They will try to help you with any request you might have during your stay. You do not even need to leave the island as their chef and staff can provide you with an outstanding Nubian dinner (as vegetarians they even adapt to our dietary requirements). Their generous Egyptian breakfast facing the Nile will surely give you the strength you need for exploring neighbour Philae temple or just to enjoy the afternoon in their comfortable common area.
