Dahab is a small seaside town; there are plenty of seaside activities. One might think that small size and quant location that life here would be pretty laid back. You would be wrong especially when it comes to driving. The drivers are manical, they are rude and completly wreckless. You should also be careful when eating. This was my fourth trip to Dahab but my first in about 15 years. In my previous trips I loved the scuba diving and the relaxing vibe of the town. When I returned on this trip I was delighted to discover that, even though the town is bigger, Dahab has retained its low-key vibe. The businesses are local, which is part of its charm. This trip was shorter, so I mostly focused on scuba diving. There are lots of other activities, many of which I did on previous trips. In the evenings I went to restaurants. Many have patios, that overlook the red sea. Dahab tends to be a bit windy, so there often was always a nice ocean breeze to keep things cool as the sun set, Idyllic.Guest review byJoanCanada - 10.0

Dahab consists of two areas, Laguna and Dahab Poppy has the lighthouse beach. In the lighthouse area there are many businesses for entertainment. There is also the possibility of diving and excursions to areas nearby. The hotels are mainly 3 or 4 stars. The best spot, if you are not into diving, is the lighthouse area. As for the food, you must eat Egyptian and not European cuisine. Getting around Dahab is easy by renting a minivan. There is nothing you should avoid during your stay there. We think this is probably the best hotel in Dahab. Very beautiful grounds, cosy rooms with stunning views of the sea and the lovely swimming pool. The sunrises from your balcony are incredible! So close to the market and in the middle of everything at the center of Dahab, yet very quite 😍 The room was cozy and clean.. The staff are so nice, friendly and helpful.. Diaa, Amin and Ahmed..
