The hotel is really gorgeous, the room was quite spacious, with a balcony and a nice bathroom. All the amenities were super nice and everything was provided. The spa that was included with the room is good, but the more silent one and with more sauna options needs to be paid extra. The breakfast was amazing! I hope to visit again.

Hotel Estonia was such a wonderful stay after and during a busy work trip. The rooms are beautiful, and the spa is phenomenal! I enjoyed the different sauna types and the cleanliness throughout. The staff was very polite and helpful. And the coffee and the tea with the kettle waiting in the room was a wonderful touch! Nothing like brewing a cup early in the morning or late in the day after a relaxing spa experience.

Estonian Summer Capital and Haven for Beach Lovers

Pärnu is packed with culture and architecture and is renowned for being a major health and beach resort town. Pärnu is Estonia’s summer capital, and has become a haven for beach, nature and history lovers.

Pärnu offers an endless amount of activities for everyone; From lazy and laidback stints on the beach, to strolls along the beachside promenades and through the botanical gardens of Rannapark. A day of sightseeing in the colourful and unique city centre and Pärnu Old Town is another option.

The city has a number of museums, art galleries, boutiques, shops, and traditional Estonian timber houses. Other popular activities are hiring a paddle boat and cruising down the Pärnu River.

Festivals such as the Bacardi Feeling Beach festival and Pärnu Blues Days are held in the city annually. After dark, Pärnu comes alive within the numerous beachside bars, nightclubs, wine bars, restaurants, and cafés scattered throughout the city. The lack of facilities on the beach is however strange - if you google Pärnu beach in 1930, you see some piers, a lot of sitting chairs, and places where to stay when it is raining. This time we had a sudden rain and there was nowhere to hide. You can rent a sunbathing chair but you need to return way too early and there is not enough of them. As the city itself, it is lovely but it has somewhat a feeling of being overtaken by tourists. It would also need more accommodation for tourists - the lack of it makes prices expensive (it would have been cheaper to be in Spain than Pärnu.

    The beach and park in Pärnu are really lovely. I didn't have much time to explore the old town but the time I spent there was enjoyable! I had a delicious dinner at the restaurant by the River called Fööniks.

At the same time, it is clear that tourism is being developed and investments are being made so that city visitors have a good, high-quality vacation with different culture events, SPA center, good restaurants and hotels, accessible toilets, and walking areas.

    A beautiful and cozy hotel just in the middle of Old Town of Pärnu, and most of all the friendliest staff you can imagine. A good night's sleep in comfortable beds. A very atmospheric restaurant. Our baby slept better there than in months :) A washing machine was a nice surprise.
