We have got the upgrade and the room has views of both Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. One from the balcony, the other from the window. It was lovely and relax stay. Staff did arrange tickets for us to both castles with great recoommendation. The property is in a short walk to castles, museum and the lake.

The view from the balcony was unbelievable. I could sit outside all day and night. Perfect location for visiting the castle and the bus stop to Füssen. The room was very spacious, and I loved the Bath.

Perfectly placed to stay overnight to enjoy exploring the castles and surrounding area. Great to be able to take in the beauty of the castles, town and lake into the evening and early in the morning, without the crowds. Hotel very comfortable and great value for the location. Honestly, everything was just so lovely. From the room to the restaurant, everything was so perfect. We appreciated the snacks in the room for us on our arrival and the gorgeous breakfast you prepared for us in the morning was just to die for. We regret staying only one night but next time, it will be for much longer.

We liked all about this property starting from location and ending by facilities. Appartment was spacy, very clean, modern and comfortable. We liked the breakfast and also the possibility to rent the bikes. Rural and quiet surroundings were amazing. Wish we could stay a little bit more.

    I did not enter any of the castles or museums. I had done that 50 years ago, as a student in Munich. I liked just walking around, soaking up the tourist vibe, predominantly Chinese. I even liked the rainy-sunny mix of weather, so characteristic of the Allgaue region.

    The village is a prime example of a "tourist village".

    The village is a prime example of a "tourist village". Everything closes very early on, you see almost no locals, only hotels and restaurants. In spite of that, it still gives you a nice german feeling and experience, and the whole area is super clean, secure and just dreamy. I suggest everyone to take a bycicle or walk to get around, and try the Schlossbrau restaurant.

    I liked the walk ability to the castles. The tours were just okay- guides to both castles did not speak great English (on the English tour) so it was difficult to get much out of the tours…. But the area is beautiful and you can swim in the lake!

    Central location convenient for visiting the two castles.

    Central location convenient for visiting the two castles. There is nothing there apart from a series of hotels and a few restaurants. Even so, much more conventient than staying further out and paying for parking etc. For more amenties and activities apart form the castles try Fussen, 15 minutes away

    This city is amazing and the people are so nice.

    This city is amazing and the people are so nice. I had all good experiences during my stay in the area. The Castle Hohenschwangau is worth a visit as well. Most people just go to Neuschwanstein, but please visit the Hohenschwangau Castle as well. Do not eat at the Hotel Muller Bistro quick snack place. The Jumbo hot dog was terrible, and I had an ache in my stomach the rest of the day. Eat at one of the sit down restaurants!

    Woman from reception was completely stressed out wich is unpleasant if you have just traveled so we didn't feel very welcome when checking in. After 17:00 not possible to eat anything. Bad WIFI and breakfast ( no fruit) that was not what you expect fir this price. Rooms did not have insulated walls. Perfect distance from the Neuschwanstein castle ( only 200 meters)

    Being able to eat breakfast and dinner with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and the view from the room window of Hohenschwangau Castle and the Alpsee lake were wonderful! All hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The advantage was also free parking right next to the building. The cafe with a garden next to the hotel was also pleasant. Thanks to the amazing location, we were able to do all our trips on foot!

    This hotel is all about the location. It couldn't have been better. Absolutely perfect for our day of visiting Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Access in and out were easy. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was generous and tasty.
