It was super clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable. We had a very good sleep. The staff was lovely and the breakfast great, they even had gluten free bread. I would come back anytime.

The surrounding woods offer delightful surprises including wild raspberry picking opportunities, while charming old cottages dot the landscape. Evening walks frequently reward guests with wildlife encounters, including deer and other local animals, creating magical moments in this naturally rich environment. The breakfast and dinner offerings are truly amazing, featuring a generous self-service approach that caters to all dietary preferences. The selection includes vegetarian options, fruits, salads or vegetables. One of the few places with air-conditioning in Bohemian Switzerland, we really enjoyed the air-conditioning since the days were hot in summer. Room and bed was comfy, shower was excellent with good water pressure. Simple, but enough and fulfilling breakfast, also bean coffee for free. The on-site restaurant dishes are good and large portioned. Free private parking. Right next to Schaunstein castle. And mostly, all the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stunning location by a hill, and the hiking path. The room was clean and cozy. Made with a style, a bit rural. The place is perfect for cleaning the mind and staying close to the nature. It is also good starting point for the National Park exploring.

We had a wonderful time in this pension right after Christmas. We were lucky enough to manage to book the cottage “roubenka” adjusting the main pension. It was so cosy, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and when we didn’t want to cook we ate in the restaurant, 30 second walk in our slippers! The breakfast was outstanding, absolutely delicious and fresh but more than anything it was the staff who made our stay enjoyable. The ladies were very friendly, hardworking and always so helpful even when busy! There was always a free parking space available outside which we appreciated. Our son loved playing outside (there’s a lovely playground) and looking at the horses and goats. We had our hunting dog with us (massive bonus that dogs are welcome!) and enjoyed endless walks in the area, beautiful woods, fields at the back of the garden! Most of our time there we had frost/snow but it must be absolutely magical when it’s green and everything is blossoming. We’re hoping to come back one day!
