The city is vibrant and full of tourists. If you're looking for the great destination for partying Ayia Napa is for you otherwise go out of the town or to Protaras which is not far from Ayia Napa. I expected even more crowds. Even though it's the end of August, everything works, it's clean, public transport is functional and people are friendly. The spa area and indoor pool were well maintained and a was generally a relaxing experience. Breakfast had a lot of options which is a bit rare in Cyprus, even for some hotels which cost much more.
