The hotel is very nicely located. The staff is helpful and very polite. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is delicious. Good drinks. If you have a car, it is a perfect base for trips around the island. Apart from the hotel restaurant, there are others in the area. It was a very nice time spent in this hotel. An unbelevable little oasis in the village at the bottom of the Paul Valley. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room was very neat and comfortable. Breakfast was served at the rooftop with a beautiful view. This is the perfect place to stay at Santo Antao.

Kasa was extremely comfortable, modern, and well-designed. Food portions were very generous, excellent wifi, and there was also free drinking water (instead of having to buy small bottles all the time). Ana helped with planning my hikes and organizing a guide. It's not too long a walk to Paul to catch the aluguers though it's important to keep in mind the island is huge and it takes time and money to get around. I regretted moving to another area b/c I really loved my stay here.

Location is flawless - on a quiet street, but just off the main road. Aluguars stop virtually opposite the property and are very frequent, both going up the Paul Valley and along the coastal road. There is a little mini market just around the corner, open until 20:00. The owner is super - helpful and able to advise on all the best walks in the area. He suggested a much better walk than the one we initially wanted to do; he had maps and suggested places to eat. The room was very comfortable, clean, and the balcony was a nice bonus. The kitchen area is really nice, half al-fresco. All the staff were lovely and kind and very helpful. The internet works fine - there are 2 networks to choose from. I was also very grateful to have access to a guest fridge in the kitchen area. We regretted cancelling one of the 2 nights we'd initially wanted to stay and only staying 1. For bonus points, there is also a little 8-week-old puppy :)

nice welcome, location is central, a little bit hidden but really quite and in the middle of the nature, u can hear the ocean and the breakfast on the terrace is amazing and good, the room was clean and more i expected! all in all a perfect stay!

An incredible host who runs the place from the genuine love for it! And she does excellent! Its not only all the languages she speaks but also the kindness and willingness to support in every sense of it. You will feel save and well taken care of! The meals are homemade, the bed really comfy and hot water always available (unusual in the area but much needed)

    Lovely small town by the coast close to mountain trails.

    Lovely small town by the coast close to mountain trails. We stayed 5 nights but would have happily stayed another couple of nights. Good restaurants in town including an authentic Italian place run by an Italian and serving home-made pasta with tables on his terrace. He has a wonderful model town, that he has made himself, on display for you to look at while waiting to order. Casa Maracuja served good local cuisine and we also enjoyed the food at Paladar where they serve cachupa. We had a rental car, but there were also alughers available for transport to Porto Novo, the ferry port.
