My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Whale watching was amazing, however it feels a little intrusive. We were assured that the boats are only allowed to go out certain times in the day and not at all at certain times of the year. You'll sleep surrounded by the forest, which a surreal experience but with a sense of luxury as well. The pool area is really cute too. Felt like we had our own little private apartment, as we also had a parking spot. Super close to everything you might need by foot - bakery, restaurants, bar, supermarket…as well as by car to playa Hermosa and the center of Uvita.
