This is definitely the place I can say I would like to come back or would have liked to stay longer. The accommodation is cosy surrounded by beautiful gardens. Breakfast tastes like home and is delicious! Leo, host of the place as its said in Spanish “Buena gente”, you can tell its such a good person that makes this place even more home like. Everyone super kind. 1000 % recommend

The minute that we entered the reception area we were greeted by the kindest sweetest staff ever !! It was truly amazing from beginning to end !! My friend was visiting from Canada and sadly needs a wheelchair to get around , I honestly could not believe how helpful and warm and kind everyone was ! The help we received regarding the wheelchair situation was top notch !!! When I say top notch I really mean it ! Our room was perfect as it was also wheelchair accessible!!! I was so worried if I was ever going to find a way to show my friend the Volcano while she was here , it was on the top of her list and if it where not for everyone at the Manoa Resort I don't think we could have done it ! Then let's talk about the spa " WOW " that's the only way to describe it ! We both had massages that sent us straight to heaven !!!! We were so relaxed we could barley keep our eyes open but we knew we had to get into the Mineral Springs lol well after that we ate a fabulous late lunch in the Springs area and ended up falling asleep at the table because we were so relaxed !!! I was so embarrassed hahaha ! I hope no one was looking lol ! Best Margiritas ever !!! I don't think either of us has ever had such an amazing sleep that night !!! Excellent breakfast buffet / everything you could ever want!!!! We had a perfect view of the Volcano from our room !!! We were only planning on staying 4 nights but because we just couldn't bring ourselves to pack our bags so we decided to stay another night !! Hahaha ! Then the most amazing gift came along , it was the Manager of the Lodge who was absolutely lovely in every way ! She was very pleased to hear we were staying another night and then she said she had been trying to make contact with us all day ? I'm thinking hummm , I couldn't figure out why ? Was it because we almost fell asleep in our lunches the day before Hahahaha!

Everything!!! The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was stunning, exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything felt fresh and clean. The view and scenery is so special. Falling asleep and waking up listening to the sounds of the jungle was incredible.

Our stay at Noah’s forest really exceeded our expectations. Wonderful and peaceful location, in the middle of nature and very well curated, amazing ambience even in the restaurant, surrounded by green. We felt welcomed since the first moment we arrived and until the last one when we left: a special thanks to Anna, Daniel, Alan and Jafeth who we had the pleasure to meet, who gave us tips and recommendations on activities, places to visit as well as accompany us around the hotel to show us all the amazing plants, let us taste Costa Rican fruits as well as spotting sloths.     We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving...

    We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving to Monteverde for zipline tour, we chose one day of pampering rather than adventure so did not hike around Arenal or paddle board on Arenal. We did white water rafting between Puerto Viejo and Fortuna. We did waterfall repelling near Fortuna (amazing). The people are friendly and the area is lovely. We enjoyed a night time nature tour with our hotel (Noah's Landing) and Nayara Gardens was amazing. We saw plenty of sloths but so much more! We went to the Mistico hanging bridges on a rainy day which worked well-it did not matter. We also visited the Fortuna Waterfall (500 steps down-then 500 steps up but worth it!) If you like adventure- there is plenty. If you want to relax-it is a beautiful place to do so.

    This is a great area to experience Costa Rica and the wildlife. We visited Mistico hanging bridges (great with a guide as located creatures we would not have); La Fortuna waterfall (no guide needed); Sky adventures (aerial tram, zip lines & trails); sloth guided tour; Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails (day pass with lunch) - all of which we would recommend!

    It is difficult to get around in Costa Rica.

    It is difficult to get around in Costa Rica. They have on main major highway and you must get off that highway to get to Jaco and Fortuna. The roads are windy and it takes forever to get somewhere. It took us 3.5 hours to get from Fortuna to San Jose and it is less than 100 miles. This is due to the windy roads which are typically one lane in each direction. However, it is a beautiful drive. Just be prepared! If you are in the Jaco area, do not miss Villa Caletas. Has an amazing view. We stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club at Los Suenos in Garabito. It is a beautiful property.

    The room was too small clostephobic no air conditioning no tv no nothing i dont recommend staying here you will regret it. i tried to get a refund and the girl at the reception didnt know how to work the compurter or do any assistance to this matter. I Strongly encourage you not to stay here if you do then i could say i told you so....please go somewhere else for the money.......totallyt a rip off

    Fortuna is a must see city. It was very clean very safe. The people were very friendly and honest. Definitely a US friendly town there was lots to do and lots to see the food was excellent. The roads were good. Couldn’t ask for a better experience would definitely come back.

    Fortuna is amazing! We loved every miniute. We met wonderful, friendly people, who just wanted to share their love of their country and culture. Every meal was delicious, Service is top notch, and the prices are great. It is perfectly located to enjoy all of the surrounging tours, ziplining, hiking, ATV, sloth tours, and omg the hot springs and thermal rivers! You must visit!!

    super place to stay ,close to la fortuna town and all this had to offer. breakfast was great with super views of wild birds including toucans feeding off fruit on platforms supplied by hotel we ate dinner twice in resturant it was great value and two of the best meals we had in our stay in Costa Rica We went on Sloth trip with Armando saw 27 (a record) in the evening he took us on a night walk around the grounds and saw many frogs and other creatures overall great stay

    Beautiful boutique hotel. Immersed in lush tropical grounds, full of lots of flora and fauna. The restaurant food was very tasty with a great breakfast. The staff went above and beyond with making our stay extra special, with room decoration and also with information on things to do in the area. Only a short uber ride into La Fortuna and a very short walk to the waterfalls. Definitely recommend it.

    The hotel was really nice and good value for money but we didn't get chance to use the swimming pool unfortunately. The staff were really great and useful, it's a 15-20 walk into town which is fine in the day but we got taxis back.
